Cool, laid back!
Upgrade the chair cushions or get new ones. I've got a mid-century chair to sell to you. 😃

The idea is there and I couldn’t wait to come try this place. The atmosphere was empty to me.. not cozy or inviting but not necessarily unwelcoming. The cappuccino was mostly warm milk and tasted slightly burnt. I assumed (key word) this place would be much cuter/livlier than it is.

This place has a very poor vibe
our goal was to order and sit while listening to a vinyl. We handed the very unfriendly barista a Chicago album and placed our order expecting him to play it while sitting there. After placing the order he put the album on the counter collected my money and never walked over to the record player to play the album. When I asked if he was going to play the album he said he had to take care of the 3 customers who were in line after me. Then another and another customer walked in so we left. The over priced Matcha and Pollen drink were not that great either.

This was the best independent, non-major chain coffee shop I tried during my visit to Stuart, FL. I went back three times after trying other similar venues in the area.

I only tried various hot lattes during those visits, and they were all great.

The parking is limited, but I had no issue find street parking.

Nice little coffee shop with good coffee. It’s not dance or stuffy, just comfortable.

Beautiful place
It is a shame that we drove from orlando and Miami to visit this place for my dad’s birthday, only to find poor costumer service and a barista that rudely kicked us out of the establishment. Business hours state that on Sunday they close at 8pm. By 5:50pm the barista refused to take orders, stated that they close at 6:00pm, opened the back door harshly and unprofessionally asked us to leave.

I don’t post reviews ever, but this time I think is necessary and meritorious . This past Sunday (1-19-25) I went to celebrate my birthday with my family. We agreed to travel halfway from Miami and Orlando to meet in Stuart, FL for a nice dinner.

After that, my niece, who knows my passion for music, vinyl records and good coffee, surprised me by taking me to this place. My first impression was “wow” my two passions combined in one place. What a cool concept, I said.

So, as all my family (14 members) walked into the shop just before 6pm, we started ordering. While on line and after taking our first order, the young lady at the register said: We are closing now, I cant take more orders. Leaving some of us in disbelief but immediately agree and stepped aside. The rest of us, oblivious to what was going on, were observing the place, flipping through vinyl records and complimenting the place. To our surprise, we were abruptly approached by another young lady stated: We are locking up and you all need to make your way out. No tact, no apologies or at least an invitation to come another day.

The problem here; the hours advertised were showing 8pm as the closing time and not 6pm. However, we all looked at each other, still in disbelief as it was a joke, and proceeded to exit and go to the parking lot in the back.

While there and commenting about what just happened, a gentleman arrived to also enjoy an evening coffee. To his surprise, the door was locked and while he questioned the employees from the outside. He asked us and we explained that we were just told to leave even though the closing time was 8pm. Also, that we were all told to look at a sign at the door
contradictory information maybe?

This gentleman was also in disbelief since he stated that he is a regular at this place and actually knows the owner very well. The gentleman was kind enough to apologize on behalf of the owner and told us he would let him know about how all 14 of us (15 with him) were denied service and “kicked out” of the coffee shop as the employees were walking behind us.

Maybe they make enough money and don’t need us as clients. Maybe it was just a bad day for those young ladies and they couldn’t be nicer or polite. Maybe it was just bad luck. But the truth of the matter is that something that was promising to be a great time with family on my birthday, turned out to be a bitter disappointment and bad experience without even being allowed to consume at the place. Not to mention that I am a vinyl enthusiast and collector with a tendency to spend quite some money on records every time I visit a store, which was also not possible that night.

My two cents, if you change your hours, try to update them on the internet. If you see 14 people getting into your business near closing time, be nice and let them know before they get the idea that they will be allowed to consume. If you have young people being the face of your business, let them know that EVERYONE deserves a fair treatment regardless of their age, ethnicity or any other identifiers. And yes, unfortunately I mentioned ethnicity because we were speaking Spanish, and I don’t want to think that was a factor for our rough treatment. At the end of the day, we were all customers willing to spend our money at your coffee shop.

Very disappointed about the poor experience at THE ROASTED RECORD COFFEE AND VINYL.

Best coffee in Stuart, hands down. Cappuccino for me, decaf pumpkin spice latte for my wife. The best we've ever had. Great pastries. Went there every day of our vacation.

Very disappointed ordered Nitro cold brew not under nitrogen and when I brought it back to tell them was not treated very well will NEVER go back nor do I recommend any of my friends or family EVER go there. Try to support local businesses but when they act like they do they don’t deserve to stay in business đŸ€Ź
