I loved everything about the Tide house, their crabcakes, seafood even their prime rib is absolutely delicious. The service was especially top-notch with Melanie being our server. She was friendly and accurate and getting all of our orders just right definitely would recommend.

Atmosphere was perfect and the food was excellent. They do have the best crabcakes ever. They are Maryland style crabcakes and they are wonderful.
View is beautiful in the evening. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Food was very good . Missed out on our appetizers but dinner meal was great! Kids chicken tenders were delicious. Ribeye was cooked perfectly. Great taste. Crab cakes with shrimp was very good !! Best crab cakes I have had.

I think it was just an off experience. Tide House is good but this experience was not up to what I expected.

Tide house is one of our favorite places to go for dinner with my mom. Last night we had Joe as our server and he was wonderful! Pleasant, very helpful, just made our experience perfect. Food was great and we will obviously be back.

A lovely brunch with family. Server was quite good, juggling several checks among 7 people. My eggs were perfect (eggs Benedict). The location is beautiful! I will go again

My friends and I had been to Tidehouse once before when under previous ownership. We had such a pleasant experience and met the general manager Amelia who made us feel at home!
Fast forward to a few days ago. The same friends and I stopped in for lunch not knowing the restaurant went under new management. I am not one to write reviews but this was such a negative experience I have to share my experience so others can beware. Started off great! Very friendly hostess and our server was actually terrific. This is where it went wrong. Happy hour is no longer at the tables on the patio or inside. Only at the bar and outdoor (exposed by the elements) tables. We were told this was a strict new rule. (Sounds like a greedy owner). Next was some of our favorite menu items had been removed from the menu. (The edamame being a big one). The most disappointing part of the whole experience was witnessing the new owner, who we asked our server his name — George, treat his servers and staff in general with harsh words and no respect. Our poor server looked flustered after talking with the owner on a menu modification we asked about. Please do yourself a favor. Avoid this restaurant. The management and ownership do not deserve your money and business.

Great view! But thats it! Food really bad; fish horrible, we left hungry and all the food.
Worst restaurant I ever been, weird that 4pm on a sunday empty; red flag.

I really like the atmosphere at the Tide House. To my dismay, I have never paid $9 for a bottle of domestic beer. This is highway robbery! Also beware...Happy Hour is only on the patio and bar and not in the restaurant. The service was very slow but the main servers were very nice. Food was good but nothing special.

Waited 35 minutes for drinks without water. The waitress had an attitude that we were frustrated. The view does not compensate for the service and is not worth it at all. I would not recommend this place.
