The Whistle Stop by Ariel Seafood

Mom and I went for lunch on a shop keeper’s suggestion of a Local Favorite. So glad we did. Met Bri as I was parking and immediately felt welcome even though we’re not local.

Mom loved the Philly and today’s special was a Cuban which I got. YUM! (Fries were especially yummy and crisp). Thanks to Bri for the suggestions.

The restaurant is tiny, but welcoming. Almost like you’re walking into a kitchen for lunch. Even the other diners welcome you.

And to top it off, the Brightline went by just as we were heading to the truck. (Love the CHOO-choos)

If I’m in the area again … yup…I’d be back in a heartbeat.

I drove from Orlando to visit my grandmother and couldn’t be more excited to stop by whistle stop when I got here. I even left early to make it on time. Hours say they close at 3, got there at 2:15 and they were closed completely. Not a soul in sight on a SATURDAY! No sign on the door explaining, nothing. The previous management wouldn’t have let that happen. Wish I could give negative stars.

I had a cheese burger somewhere else yesterday and it was so incredibly delicious, well cooked, well built, excellent balance! Seriously a great burger. But it wasn’t at the Whistle Stop in Stuart (Port Salerno). The great burger was at a waterside grill (not in Stuart) and with great fries was $11.50. It was so good, it caused me to remember my disappointment of the Whistle Stop burger a couple weeks ago. Staff is nice, but really, the burger was not created with care. I got it with bacon which was poorly placed just on one side of the burger. So, lots of bacon over here, and no bacon over there. Also, there was no lettuce or tomato. Just the bacon and cheese and I got it to go, so surprise. No lettuce tomato etc. was I supposed to ask for that? My bad if so. You want a great burger? Gotta make it with care. I hope this review will push you to do better.

If your a stuart local you know how good the Whistle Stop is i like so many of there menu options its hard to get board its always delicious and they always do a grate job of getting orders out as quickly as possible while ensuring a quality meal is what you get
