Stepping into this place felt just like walking into a friend’s home. It has such a warm, welcoming vibe—and the food is absolutely incredible.
I ordered the churrasco with lobster mofongo, and it was beyond delicious. I’d never had that combination before, and I’m so glad I gave it a try.
The staff was friendly and polite, and the service was great.
If you’re in the Ocala area and craving some authentic Puerto Rican food, definitely check this spot out!

Food was adequate at best. The fish filet was rubbery and needed to be cut with a knife. This suggests that it came frozen and was microwaved. Service was slow. We were first in the door at noon. We were seated and then abandoned. Had to go find a server to place an order. She spoke no english which made communication difficult. The furniture was old and torn. The decor was aged. Music was too loud.

So disappointed., we gave this place another try cause we heard there was new owners but they forgot to get rid of the bad servers which is why we stopping coming here in first place. I walked in today Sunday 07/27 @630pm. They had a few tables filled. The girl with her hair up curly hair seen me walk in did not acknowledge me. She went behind the bar to get the tables check that she was doing. She looked at me again and still no acknowledgment. All it takes is a simple ILL BE RIGHT WITH YOU to keep a customer. The bar tender also was there washing some cups looked up at me and also did not acknowledge. When the server came back to give the table she was working on their check which I am standing right next to that table already about 3 min to long seem like 5 min. Cause again a simple I’ll be right with you or any type of acknowledgement would have kept me waiting for another 3 min. But instead she looks back up as she talking to other guess about a credit fee and debit fee which is another ??? And still no acknowledgement. So I walked out like I have in the past and remembered this is why I haven’t been here the service SUUCCKKSS…

Confort Latino food, delicious to the taste, but it was uncooked, almost raw. They must be very careful with the time of cooking even in rush hours. Which we weren’t.
Went for dinner on mother's day. There was a long wait time. The food was very delicious. My Husband had Ropa Vieja.He liked the food. The meat was tender and tasty. I had mofongo with chicken and shrimp. It was good. We recommend the casual restaurant.

“We’ve visited several times, and the Spanish food is truly the best in the area. The yuca is especially well-prepared, though I suspect the mofongo may not be made entirely with fried plantains. One area that could use improvement is the restroom—it has a noticeable mothball smell that’s a bit unpleasant. Overall, though, the food keeps us coming back!” PS : my wife love the Churrasco
