The Anchor on Sunset Harbor

The Anchor is our go to place every weekend. We love Butch, Ryle and the rest of the staff are amazing. Super accommodating, the food is great no matter what you order. Overall a great time.

always feel like i'm bothering the bar tender when we order, we mostly go to drink beer. only during the day. She (bartender, must be the owner) poors the worst beer, always 2 inches missing off the top, short fill every time, i mean every time, don'twnt to sound cheap but beer has gotten expesive like everything else

I’ve been there twice in the last two weeks and left without eating. The first time was 45 minutes and tonight was 30 minutes. The servers walk from inside to behind the bar and give no service to people sitting at tables. If there to sit at the bar and get drunk you get service if you’re there to eat you get none. We won’t be back and if you don’t want to go home hungry I suggest you go somewhere else.

The hamburger was good, except it said toasted bun but the top and bottom were cold, like just out of fridge, ordered the onion rings for a buck more and got four rings, they were good though. Everyone was pleasant. Will go again.

If I could give this place no stars, I would first off let’s start with, They don’t answer their phone !!! Second off, they should have people who speak English taking the orders because there should be no reason why it took 15 min just to take my order…. I spent a lot of money just to get home And find my order all wrong then when you try to call, of course no answer. Will be returning my all of my food completely tomorrow morning. Not only did I drive 30 minutes there I had to drive 30 minutes back home which I have to do the same tomorrow to return..

It's a bar with bar food. Friendly service , good food and pretty good prices. Karaoke Friday night if you sing. Good DJ fun night.

I am never one to write reviews or even complain. But I come here all the time, service is usually great. Food is always good. But this time in particular, the bartender was rude from the second I walked in to the minute I left. There was no greeting when we walked in. She did walk over to us as we sat and asked what we wanted to drink. We could barely finish telling her what we wanted before she cut us off to ID’d us, understandable its her job but she could have let me finish what I was saying first. Then we ordered our food, she threw the silverware down on the bar top in front of me. She also threw down our condiments, my receipt & card. Yet again, she did not say anything to us on the way out the door. I can’t even say “well maybe she’s having a bad day” because she was kind, smiling and joking with other guests. I’m not sure what she had against my partner and I, but it was very much rude and unwelcoming. I never been here in the daytime, so hopefully I won’t run into her at night. But I can guarantee if she’s working, i’m leaving.

Used to be our fav go-to. Visited 12-11 24 with vacationing family. Absolutely the worst lunch ever and altho the waitress was really nice, the service was awful. 7 people total and nobody enjoyed the food. We won't be back. Something has changed there, and not for the better.
