The Anchor on Sunset Harbor

So I wouldn't recommend this place because they are horrible a lot of times the most recent instance that happened was I needed to use the bathroom because the bathroom where I live is out of order so the anchor was the closest place no one says anything when I got to the bathroom when I go to leave an employee rudely says that bathroom is for paying customers only like ma'am sorry that I didn't wanna soil myself sorry that the bathroom is out of order where I live and this isn't the only time they've been rude about a year ago or so went to eat and watch the Superbowl at the time and they're not tending to me and my fiance and they're taking shots behind the bar and then they have the audacity to ask for a tip I've worked in the food industry asking for tips is a no-no a very big no-no it's rude to do so and plus at the time they didn't do anything to deserve a tip considering what I've mentioned happened foods decent but just the service is very horrible and they're rude just because someone only needs to use the bathroom most places are nice if you only need to use the bathroom only wouldn't recommend this place..

I go here when ever I have a chance, even though I do not drink, this place has phenomenal food I've tried several of their sandwiches and meals and have thoroughly enjoyed every one of them one, one of my personal favorites from there is the Reuben sandwich, the Anchor on Sunset Harbor does not have a cook there, they have a chef.... and all the young ladies that work there provide wonderful service...

The food is delicious, the drinks are cold- but the REAL reason why we come is the THE STAFF!!! We love the team behind the counters and grills, the bartenders are always so kind and the music is always enjoyable! Come for the fresh seafood, stay for the company!!

Awesome food, great service. Fun friendly atmosphere. Would go well out of my way just to go and grab a burger here. 10/10 would recommend.

During the weekdays (specifically during the day), service at this place is PAINFUL!! It has got to be in the top 2 worst service places I have ever visited… Female bartenders attitude in my book would have been totally unacceptable. As a former restaurant operations manager I would have never even hired her or allowed any of my GM’s to do so either.

This place has gone down hill. I had to leave due to all the flies. If I could share a video, I have a video of a fly in my blue cheese. It turned my stomach and the server acted like it was no big deal by laughing. The sauce was not what it was before. The wings used to be nice and plump. Our service sucked. We were never asked if we wanted refills. We were never asked how the food was. Other patrons had to keep swatting the flies away. I never thought I would say this but I will no longer be a big fan if the anchor bar. Every time I come home, it’s the first place I visit. I bragged about this once all over the country. No more. I feel bad about not leaving a tip but I couldn’t justify leaving one. I will go to Duffs before heading out of town so I can at least get some decent Buffalo Wings hopefully without the flies.
