Jack's Shack Ice Cream Shoppe

(Rolled Ice Cream For Context) It's good, but not 8 dollars good. The fair has cheaper ones when the annual fair happens and it's creamier and tastier for 6. These here are good, but they texture wise feel more frozen over creamier.

I'm also confused by the cost of the MilkShakes 7.50 for a small is kinda wild. I mean Wawa has pretty good Shakes for 5.07 (16oz) almost 6 for the 24oz.

Shaved Ice is even crazier cuz it's just ice shaved with a bottle of syrup and maybe some decor, for 5.50 😬.

Idk man, I literally make ice creams at home for a fraction of the price.

Again, not a knock on them for taste, just way too pricey. Cold Stones not that far, for cheaper (not that much cheaper though).

Must be cuz they're not a huge chain so profit margins must be higher for overall cost of expenses, but I'm fairly certain you can get away with a 10% reduction. That's just me though.

Gator trail ice cream is delicious. Waffle cones are tasty. Chocolate milkshake could be more chocolatey.

Sorry I bothered them yesterday! I ask for a sugar free ice cream and they looked at me like I was crazy all while I'm reading a sign saying you have it.they didn't suggest anything so I said just give me a butter pecan, we are out of that not offering me anything else.so I got a strawberry sugar cone.now this is sun city center and the average person is 70 years old and many can't have sugar and I would guess butter pecan is the favorite for older people. Why have a shop if you don't have ice cream or them lazy girls didn't want to open a new one I got the feeling they just wanted to close up! You won't stay in business long treating customers like that!

The rolled ice cream is fantastic!!
It is handmade, so it can take some time depending on how busy they are and how many orders there is a wait ... but it's worth it!!
AND if you get a lid, it stays frozen all the way to Little Manatee Statepark :)

The rolled ice cream was very good.

Visiting from our of state and wish we had this in my rural town. So good I was mad when the bowl was empty. Sweet but not too sweet and just the right amount of add ins to make it super tasty. Staff is friendly and have great customer service. Not as quick as getting a scoop of ice cream but wat better and worth waiting the few extra minutes it takes to be made. If you're an ice cream lover and enjoy a really good flavor profile you will really love this little stop. I would give it 10 stars but google only lets me out 5.
