Food is always good but the service and atmosphere needs improvement. They are always behind with the orders

I went Sunday night and placed an order ahead on the website. I showed up 30 minutes later and the website said it was done but the person at the drive thru asked me I could come inside because it’s not ready yet. I asked for a wait time and all they said was “there’s only one person up front and there’s two big orders ahead of you.” I ended up getting my food after an entire hour of waiting. Unacceptable for “fast food.” Clearly there are some staffing issues.

Jamal is the best! Customer service is top tier. Huge reason why I’d cross town just to come and eat at this very location!

If I could leave 0, I would. Several times I’ve waited 20 plus minutes in the drive thru while pre ordering my food. They do not let people inside during hours. Food is cold. Food is wrong. By far the best WORST Popeyes there is. Happened again tonight and I can’t deal with the horrible service anymore.

The best location is off HWY 75 in Sun City Center. However the one on 301 and Big Ben the times I’ve went there just poor!!! Service inside or in the drive-through even when they are not busy is so slow and the order was wrong just sad!!! Definitely drive 13 minutes out my way to the one in Sun City before I drive 5 minutes to the one on 301 whenever I’m in the mood for hot and fresh chicken.

Chicken was old

Food is fine. But drive through is never open they make you come in. They never have ice especially in the machine where we get our drinks. Tea is good when fresh but they will let it sit and get sour. And they take A LONG time…. Done ranting now lol

Service terrible food good

I love me some Popeyes, but this was the most disgusting location I’ve ever visited. Food was good but the dining room stank like they hadn’t cleaned in ages. Recommend drive through or somewhere else.

How hard is it to make Sweet tea? Nightshift never has sweet tea Made and ontop of that when asked if they could make some and that I’m willing to wait however long while it’s being made I’m met with a attitude and refused to have it made. Even though I ordered through the app and already paid for over $12 in sweet tea. “Large” and a “half gallon” Ridiculous Night shift needs to get better customer service and stop being so lazy!

Extremely unprofessional and overly proud about it for whatever reason.

I had a very disappointing experience at Popeyes “Suncity” today. The young lady taking orders at the speaker was extremely rude and lacked basic customer service skills. Despite there not being a long line, I waited nearly 20 minutes for my food. Out of curiosity, I went inside during the wait, and the smell hit me immediately. It reeked like a garbage can. The restaurant was filthy, and it made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and how the food is being handled. I noticed employees not washing their hands, which is completely unacceptable in a food service environment. This location needs serious attention and accountability. I will not be returning

Very nice lady waited on me and made sure I had everything I needed. The food was great also.

The place is disorganized. This happened on 4-29-2025. I first walked in the cashier stated she's not taking orders, you have to take orders at the kiosk machine. That machine never works it just sits there for display only. I advised her that and she lied saying it does work. Okay, so I tried it, twice and long behold, it doesn't work. So I brought it to her attention, again. She didn't believe me so she tried it. Ta'da, it doesn't work. Now she look surprised in which I been told her it doesn't work. The chicken they had looked old and dried. The customer that was standing at the front counter told the cashier his chicken looked old. She argued with the customer saying the chicken wasn't. Very unprofessional. I am looking at the chicken they had displayed in which it was very little they had, and it looked old and dried out. The employees along with the manager have no clue on professionalism and the quality of food they are serving which is 2/10 terrible! The best decision I made was just to walk out of there and not waste my money on such crap they are serving. This Popeyes suck bad. Horrible experience. Horrible employees. Terrible quality of food and service. Stay away from this place!
