Good smoothie location. I’ve always ordered on the app and order was ready when I arrived. Recommend reducing sugar on smoothies when ordering as they are sweet enough.

Good quick bites that are adult and kid friendly.

"We don't serve US Marines here"!! This is what I heard from the owner in somewhat a hostile manner, on 30 September 2024 at approximately 4:45 PM. I stopped into TS for a refreshing Mango Magic smoothie on my way home to continue yard work. Upon entering I was greeted with a smile by the young ladies working on the line as I approached the cash register to place my order.

On this particular day the owner was present and she also greeted me with "Welcome to Tropical Smoothie", but then continued on with how much she dislikes the Marine Corps, and that they do not serve Marines in that establishment. My reply was "you will today" because at that point I already gave my order and paid the young lady at the cash register. She (the owner) then continued on with how unintelligent Marines are, I had to let her know that not only are we intelligent but we also have a backbone. I guess it is amazing that I never crashed my aircraft when I was active duty especially in combat, since I am perceived to be unintelligent!

This is not the first time she has made comment to either a USMC hat or t-shirt I was wearing. Lots of customers were in the store to hear the banter to include a few kids and she did not care, shortly thereafter I received my smoothie then departed. As a business owner, my wife and I honor all branches of the military without hesitation. To say any branch of the military is not welcomed would be a business killer!!

I’ve been going to this location for quite some time now. Food is good but the people that work there always act like they don’t want to be bothered to even say thank you. I always leave a tip even though I am buying on the app, but they rarely say anything when I come in. If they do, they say something as they look down and don’t even acknowledge walk ins. I don’t expect them to stop, but how about a smile and “thank you” when they hand me my stuff? I’m not leaving any more tips. I’ll buy my food, but don’t expect anything extra for mediocre service.

I have been coming to this location for over a year because they are always friendly and provide speedy service. Highly recommend!

By all means the food is most certainly not the issue here. It’s the attitude and tension you feeling walking into this facility. It’s always “what do you want?” Not a “how can I help?” Plus while looking at the menus the girls will rush you to order or just jump to say “anything else” while beginning to even say a name on the menu. ( As an example I ordered a oatmeal bowl and before I could even finish full name of item the girl, I assume, pushed order and when I said I’d like to add strawberries she said “I can’t do that it already went through” I insisted I did not care and asked for strawberries it’s not like I expected anything free however I asked for what I wanted it wasn’t my fault she rushed placing order) We’ve been stopping by after the gym to give it a try and well honestly after the third attempt at 150 spent I rather make my bowl at home with a smile. You can definitely feel none of these employees are happy and it shows.

Just moved to this area a few months ago & have been to this location about four times now. Each time has been the same with extremely poor customer service. No one greets, smiles or looks happy to be working here. The attitudes are poor & attention to detail needs work. My smoothie was made incorrectly & when asked if it could be remade, the young lady rolled her eyes. Im not sure whose managing or who owns this location but customer service to having a successful business is key & customer service is lacking big time here. I love tropical smoothie & patronize 3-4 times a week but I also appreciate good customer service. Id rather drive all the way to riverview to receive better service. After reading some of the other reviews regarding bad customer service, makes me wonder if corporate is even aware because whoever responds to these concerns, seems more focused on being very defensive vs focusing on correcting employees behavior at this location & delivering too notch customer service.

Will never come back here. The kind lady that ordered before us simply asked them for an extra cup so she could split her smoothie between her and her young daughter and even offered to pay them for the cup, they denied her the cup multiple times and told her she would have to purchase an entire new smoothie in order to get a cup. Then told her that “more people complain about their other store than this one because this one actually gets the order right” than we got our order and it was entirely wrong. As the lady left the store her daughter seemed very upset and the employees were looking around at e and laughing. As a customer service worker of over 6 years i have never seen such horrible service from an establishment. Will not be going to this location or company ever again. And I highly recommend you do not waste your time or money here.

First thing the customer service is terrible I walked into the door and I waited for five minutes for one of the staff to establish who was going to take care of me while waiting the girls upfront were making fun of other customers that walked in. I truly believe this is one of the worst customer service I had in a long time I’m very, very disappointed.
