Pesimo servicio, pedi un almuerzo y tuve que esperar casi 1 hora, si van a dilatar para servir un almuerzo tienen que decirle al cliente y no engañarlo

Walked in thinking this was a restaurant, but it's just a breakfast buffet of lukewarm French toast, nasty eggs, and undercooked bacon. Greeted at the front by two servers who just tell us to sit wherever, not given any menus or offered any water or coffee. I took one bite of French toast and I couldn't take another. The eggs were watery and were definitely made from that cheap liquid egg mix you would get at dunking donuts. By the way if you dont spend 35$ the valet is not comped.

Don't let the rating fool you. This place is excellent. We ate many apps and small plates here during the course of one very rainy weekend in Miami. The calamari was a standout. Pizza was good and fresh. The fries and sweet potato fries were both excellently prepared and super crispy on the outside. Happy hour is also great at the bar and outside. We weren't hungry enough for the breakfast buffet but it looked good. The oatmeal and bacon were both very yummy and again well prepared. The bagel with cream cheese could have been larger or had more flavor but they provided two (not sure whether that's typical or was just to supplement a small batch of bagels, but nonetheless appreciated).

When we arrived there was no one at the restaurant, no servers, greeters, not other diners. We had to go back to the hotel reception desk to ask for assistance. A waiter came and seated us and serve red us drinks and took our order. The food was good, but when we needed our water refilled, we had to locate the waiter again. No others diners ever arrived. There is valet parking that is reduced to $5.00 when the restaurant bill is stapled to your car ticket.

The food here was excellent, as well as the service. I ordered the churrasco and it was cooked to perfection. It came with roasted potatoes, roasted peppers, chimichurri, and onion rings. Delicious! My husband ordered the ribeye with mushrooms and left nothing on the plate it was so good. We also had the crab cake which was in a delicious sauce and the caprese salad, both were amazing. We also had breakfast here. I had the buffet and my husband had two eggs over medium that came with potatoes toast sausage and bacon. The buffet had fresh fruit, eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, waffles French toast, and so many other things! it was absolutely delicious.

The bad reviews here are really old, and I must say, this place is phenomenal! Staff was accommodating and attentive, and their food is delicious!! The restaurant is clean, ambience is nice. The manager took good care of us, especially since we were vegetarians, he had the chef make us special dishes which we really appreciated.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed the service and friendliness of the staff. Especially the great mixologist and bar tender Anastajah she makes the BEST drinks ever!!!! She's also very attentive and will definitely not let you down!!! We will for sure be back!!! Also their desserts are to die for especially the coconut flan... A must try!!! The staff at the front desk in the beach and pool areas were all super nice. Five star all around!!!

This is a great restaurant for groups, with a wide variety of interesting and delicious dishes on the menu to share. The fresh seafood menu items are definitely the way to go, with intriguing and flavorful side dishes to compliment. Do not pass by the octopus ceviche or the baja ceviche, they are amazing! The signature Caracol margarita is also fantastic - tangy and tart, unlike the usual over-sweetened margarita that you are so often served in TX. The atmosphere is lively and fun, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. The patio is a perfect spot when the weather is nice, and it becomes a really hot spot at night with a packed bar and energetic clientele. We will be back and will recommend to friends. Cheers!

Very simple decoration. Little choice of dishes and a few mainly seafood and fish, It is not economical compared to other restaurants that are much better at all points. It is strange that we were alone with my wife around the restored for two hours. Staff who had waited on goodwill but did not seem professional

Like many others...saw a brunch deal on TravelZoo and decided to give it a chance. Came here one Sunday morning with my wife. As we walked up to the restaurant area, we waited by a table with a register or maybe a POS system (something of some sort). Finally after several minutes, was greeted and we were sat, but it was somewhat confusing because a couple of staff members stared at each other while they were trying to seat us like if they were giving each other a cue to seat us. Finally the staff decide to seat us in a table of their choice...being that it was a beautiful day outside, my wife kindly requested to sit outside where the view is. We were then greeted by an unwelcomed feeling. Finally they decided to sit us outside and I mentioned the TravelZoo voucher and showed them an electronic version. They said they cannot accept it and it needs to be a hard copy. So they send us to the hotel's business office to print it out, but you need a room key to get it. As we walked to the front desk area, the concierge was kindly to greet us as we had a 'lost' look in our face. The concierge kindly asked waht we needed and was greatful enough to allow us to use his computer in the concierge desk and print it from there. THUMBS UP for their concierge! We finally made our way to the table outside and finally settled down. We get up towards the brunch buffet and let me tell you...it was nothing out of this world. Few selections, nothing to brag about nor run back to Caracol for. The buffet area was small and 'cute.' All the food was good, edible. But don't think it is worth the regular price you would normally pay. Thank goodness for the TZ deal! The best thing about the entire meal was the seat that we kindly had to request for and was given to us after a great deal of thinking by the staff... The view we had was great, overseeing the pool and beach area and enjoying the beautiful day out.

Well, it seems that Stefan T. and I had a similar experience at Caracol. My family of four (I bought 2 Travelzoo vouchers for us to use) ate there today, too. First off, if I had paid full price (supposedly $140 for four before tax and tip) I really would have been ticked off. As it turned out I still spent $100 ($39 X 2 + tax + added on 18% tip). My wife and I have been to a lot of really nice brunch buffets and this one in no way made the cut. To start, the server, who was very nice, never offered once to refill our water glasses. She also never offered us coffee! By the time we remembered to ask for the coffee we had almost finished our meals. The food selection was extremely limited for a pricey buffet. Like others have mentioned, there were no pancakes, french toast, waffles, etc. The biscuits and gravy were not kept hot, and neither were the scrambled eggs. They obviously didn't pay much attention to the upkeep of the sternos. The food overall was nothing special. Someone else also mentioned the valet parking debacle; they weren't kidding, it was at least a 45 minute wait. As it turned out they were so disorganized that they somehow put my keys in front of about thirty people and we got out of there in less than 15 minutes! We guiltily ran to our car before people started screaming at us instead of the valets and sped away. :)

The food is o.k., except that they ran out of some of the items even though it was only 12:00, they start at 11:00. The staff needs to be replaced. In the dining room which is maybe a dozen tables you have three waiters. two of them seam to be moving all the time and one of them doesn't care less. My wife ordered a mimosa and i ordered orange juice. we also ordered coffee. we were brought two mimosa's. I told the waitress that I was an ex alcoholic and I just drank that and she laughed. I guess it's funny to her to make somebody fall. we received the coffee when the meal was almost over. everyone else around us kept asking for coffee also. I would assume that companies that advertise on Groupon type companies are trying to bring in new customers. I'm sure it's expensive first they discount the meal at least 50% and then the advertising company get's probably 50%. The owner of this restaurant would have been better off to just throw the money on the beach.

As I am writing this I am standing an still waiting for my car from the valet service. It has been a very long uncomfortable 40 minutes so far of standing and waiting on a full stomach for our car. I am not a person to write reviews often, but this has been a very poorly run restaurant and company from the first second we walked in. Yes we did come here because of a groupon, but I usually think of groupings as being a marketing tool for companies that are under recognized. This was a disaster. First we had reservations, but when we showed up there was a wait of about 20 minutes. Then when we went to the buffet all of the plates on the table were dirty and we had to ask 2 people to bring out clean plates. The food is ok, nothing too spectacular, but they did bring us unlimited mimosas... And our waiter was nice, but now the warm and fuzzy feeling that we had gotten from the mimosas has worn off as we wait for our car. This is a horribly disorganized organization! Just avoid it. Hopefully our car will arrive soon so that we can escape!
