MiamiBeach sunny days

Today I tried to barbecue pork sandwich and a crispy chicken sandwiches. Both of them were very sad the worst sandwiches I ever had in my life. Next time I will go to McDonald's or Burger King for crispy and crispy chicken sandwich bigger better and cheaper this Pollo Tropical and Sunny Isles I won't be back. The sandwiches the Buns they are about the size of a McDonald's filet of fish sandwich, the chicken breast not crispy at all flatter than a pancake.

One of the worst location and with incompetent people working there. Never order anything from the drive thru, they will give nothing but headache, ordered a chicken soup and never received 1 piece of chicken, the black beans was only water, the chicken they give you the smallest and oldest piece of the grill.

Unseasoned, blandest food I've had in a long time. Not even some salt or pepper let alone the blends you'd expect from something serving south-american style food.
Was a long hair cooked into the meat aswell, having to pull 10cm worth of hair out of my throat certainly did not improve the experience.

No idea if it is just this location or the chain in general, regardless with the amount of alternative options for fritanga-like food in Miami do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

There seems to be a common theme in this store: customers stand in front of the register, employees pass by, touch the register, stand in front of you talking on their cell phones—anything but taking an order. I guess they have better things to do than focus on the main purpose of Pollo Tropical’s business: selling its food.

Today, I entered the store to place an order. I walked up to the counter and stood in front of the register, waiting to be helped like any other customer. While waiting, three employees walked past me, made eye contact, and deliberately ignored me. One employee, who appeared sluggish and disinterested, glanced at me briefly before quickly looking away, giving the impression that she neither cared about her job nor assisting customers.

Shortly after, a white customer approached the counter, and this same employee, who had walked past me multiple times without offering assistance, immediately went to serve them. It was clear that she prioritized their service over mine for no valid reason.

A Black Haitian worker, who was busy in the back, noticed what was happening and gestured that he would help me shortly. However, even after this, the same unhelpful employee and the manager walked past me again without acknowledging me or offering assistance. The Haitian worker ultimately left what he was doing to take my order, showing professionalism that was completely absent in the others.

As someone who rarely attributes experiences to race, I couldn’t help but notice the stark difference in treatment. I was ignored, while two white customers were assisted immediately before and after me. The Haitian worker later stated, "It's like that over here," further confirming that this behavior is not isolated.

When I tried to address the situation with the manager, she dismissed my concerns entirely, showing no interest in resolving the issue. This left me feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable.

I’ve visited other locations and never experienced service as poor as this. I will not return to this store, as the atmosphere was unprofessional, discriminatory, and outright unacceptable.
