Terrible customer service experience at Starbucks on Sunny Isles in Miami, Florida. This morning, I ordered an Imperial Cloud Tea (medium size) and was told by Oleg, the barista, to step aside and wait while he prepared my drink. However, he immediately started serving another customer who had a lengthy request to activate 40 gift cards with a $5 balance each. I politely mentioned that this was taking a long time and that I was the first to order, considering my tea takes only 1 minute to prepare (just hot water and a tea bag). Oleg's response was simply "you need to wait."

I then asked him to have another barista prepare my tea since I was in a hurry, but he completely ignored me and didn't even acknowledge my request. I couldn't wait any longer and asked for a refund. However, since I had purchased my tea through the Starbucks app, it was impossible to process the refund at that register. Oleg had to switch to another register, leaving the customer with the gift cards, and refund my money, which took even longer than preparing my tea.

Throughout the entire experience, Oleg was extremely rude and displayed inappropriate body language, showing his clear disdain for me. I've never encountered such appalling behavior from a Starbucks employee. I demand that a manager from Starbucks contacts me and provides compensation for Oleg's unacceptable behavior.

Kid-friendliness: Consistent disregard from staff at this specific Starbucks location.

I've been a loyal customer of Starbucks for years, but my recent experiences at the Sunny Isles location in Miami, Florida, have been appalling. The staff, particularly Oleg, have consistently shown a lack of respect and disregard for customers.

My most recent visit was a perfect example of this. I ordered a simple tea, but was told to wait while Oleg attended to another customer's lengthy request. When I politely asked him to prepare my tea, he ignored me and continued to serve the other customer.

This is not an isolated incident. I've experienced similar disregard from staff at this location on multiple occasions. It's clear that there's a lack of training and accountability among the staff, and it's affecting the customer experience.

I urge the management of Starbucks to take immediate action to address this issue. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, and it's the responsibility of the staff to provide that.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Starbucks location today. I placed a mobile order for a sandwich and a drink, and when I arrived to pick it up, I simply asked for a cup of water. The barista responded with an attitude, telling me to “give her a second,” so I waited patiently. After 10-15 minutes, it was clear she had no intention of providing the water, so I politely asked another barista. To my surprise, she told me I couldn’t get a cup of water unless I ordered it at the cashier.

I don’t understand why something as simple as a cup of water was such an issue, especially when I was already a paying customer. The lack of professionalism and customer service was disappointing. Starbucks is known for its welcoming environment, but this experience was anything but. I hope management addresses this because no customer should be treated with such rudeness over something so small.

I came to this location spent money also left a tip yet the employee Camila said I could not sit inside even though they had an hour and 20 minutes before closing. I’ve been to plenty of Starbucks and they do not deny you to sit. She told me to sit outside. Why would I pay for a service to come and study indoors with air-conditioning so then just go outside. Awful customer service no accommodation. I even asked kindly “Hey, is it okay if I put down one of these chairs so I could just work in the corner” and she told me no. Starbucks changed the policy this year to allowing you to sit inside if you paid for something I guess I just paid $14 to go outside literally the only reason I buy something is so that way I can sit inside with air conditioning. Mind you she allowed others to sit inside at the table she hasn’t cleaned yet. They also locked the door at 9:55 I get it, we all wanna go home on time but be kind and have common courtesy it’s not like I came in 10 minutes before closing. I’ve never written a negative review, but this one will be my first!

he place is super nice. But the people serving us take too long. In fact, one person in particular, named Trevie, is rude, super hostile, and says it doesn't matter if they have to wait, it's not her problem.

I have been traveling across the US for over a month now. It’s my first time in the US, and I’ve already visited all the major cities on the East Coast. To my surprise, after experiencing terrible service in Europe, I was pleasantly impressed by the decent service in mid-range hotels and restaurants here. The government offices I’ve interacted with also delighted me with their attentive and positive attitude.

That’s why I was even more shocked to encounter such rudeness at Starbucks!! A chain whose entire ideology and “religion” are built around hospitality.

Here’s what happened:
1. First, it was difficult to access the restroom because one of the two restrooms was cleaned and locked well before the store’s closing time.
2. Cleaning the store and—this is important—placing chairs on top of the tables started an hour and a half (!!) before closing. The store closes at 10:00 PM, and by 9:00 PM, all the chairs were already on the tables.
3. Then, it got worse. At 9:45 PM, all the customers in the store (4-5 tables were occupied) were told that the store was closing. (This part, at least, is understandable.)

4. But at 9:57 PM, they approached again and rudely demanded that I leave immediately! I wouldn’t even call it a request—more like being kicked out. At that moment, I was working on my laptop, needed the internet, and it was important for me to finish writing one paragraph. I asked for two minutes to wrap up. To my surprise, I was abruptly interrupted and told that I had to leave right now.
5. And when I pointed out that Starbucks’ ideology promotes a different attitude toward customers, they just gave me a sarcastic laugh.

This is the first establishment in the US, in over a month of traveling, where I encountered such disrespectful treatment of customers.

Extremely Disappointed with the Service!

I visited the Starbucks on Sunny Isles and experienced something very unpleasant. The employee named Camila laughed at my name in a very unprofessional and disrespectful manner. This is absolutely unacceptable in a place where customers expect courteous and respectful service.
I came here for coffee, not to be mocked. Respect for customers should always be a priority, and this kind of behavior leaves a very negative impression.

They never have the essentials for making coffee, like brown sugar or spenda. And the worst part is, they don’t even let you know before you buy the coffee. So, I suggest you go to a different coffee shop instead.

Boxes are loaded in the seating area that need to be put away. Isn’t there another place for these? Sugars are empty for customers. Staff don’t seem entirely happy to work here. No music playing so the atmosphere is…meh. As always, the coffee ☕️ is great! 😊

The truth is, what I don't like about this Starbucks is that the outside tables don't pay attention to cleanliness and garbage, but it is a place with a lot of potential to be better in terms of the products being well prepared.
