My wife and I frequent many ramen and sushi spots in south florida. Tako quickly became our number 1 spot. We still tried other restaurants but always came back to Tako. However, one night we came in and ordered our regular dishes and were left dumbfounded when they brought it out. The ramen drastically decreased in size. The sushi got significantly smaller. Even the way they made it felt like they were conserving ingredients. To top it off the menu prices increased. What???? So disappointing. This place went from our number 1 to off the list.

I went to this place during daytime. It was not busy. I waited to get my food. I also waited a long time to get my bill. Also their sparkling water cost almost $10 and they only have one size which means their soups cost less than a sparkling water, Not sure how it’s possible. They also charge some kind of a 1.4% convenience fee and they also have a mandatory 18% gratuity charge even though the service was not good. They still want you to pay 80% convenience charge.

Over the past year, this sushi place has significantly deteriorated. The portion sizes are now about a quarter of what they used to be a year ago — there’s practically nothing to eat. The entire composition of the dishes has changed. The original waitstaff and chefs are gone. I strongly advise against going to this establishment. It has completely gone downhill.

It is really an amazing. We had a combination fried rice and spicy tonkotsu ramen. Very very good and servers were very friendly. I will definitely visit again.
