Today’s review is based on a 1 time experience and is only with regard to a customer service issue or policy. This review is in no way meant to discourage people from going to this establishment because all of my prior experiences have been within my expectations.
I ordered a chicken sandwich that came with french fries. I asked the waitress if I could please substitute the french fries for home fries ( basically breakfast potatoes) The waitress advised that they could not, however, I could purchase the home fries as a side item. I agreed because I just did not want the French fries. When I got the bill I noticed the home fries cost was $6.99. I checked a menu before leaving and noticed that french fries as a side item ALSO costs $6.99. I found it disappointing that they would not accommodate my substitution request since both items cost the same on their side item options. To be fair, I am not nor have I ever been in the restaurant business. So perhaps there is something more to this from business perspective.

Dined here on 8/17/25. The staff are welcoming. We had multiple staff check on us while we were eating. I had a everything wheat bagel with egg, cheese and sausage. It was very good. My wife had Chicken and waffles again and she liked them. The place was neat and clean.

Before I begin my review, I want to say that I have no affiliation, nor I know anyone that works or owns this place. My review is based on my un-biased new customer experience.
I've recently decided to give this place a try. I have tried a couple of dishes and was really impressed with the portions at a reasonable price. With prices going up... restaurants have been forced to increase their prices which is understandable...however, often they also reduce the portions...which is not the case at this place.
For example, they advertise a 3 egg omelet, but they brought me a plate with what it seems like a 5-6 egg omelet.
I have been served by the same lovely server named Lauren every time I've been to this place. Being a new customer, she provided me with suggestions based on what I was craving and was very patient with me while I looked thru the menu and made my desicion.
She also presented alternatives like telling the cook to make the potatoes crunchier, adding hot water to the milk for my coffee... and making me a fresh cup of coffee to go. These are the little things that go a long way for appreciative customers like me. Lauren, if you read this...Thank you!
I observed other servers, while I was enjoying my food and it seems to me that the owner carefully selects the servers with the same customer service characteristics which is very important to keep a business alive these days.
Granted, in my personal opinion, the place needs a bit of a face lift... to freshen up the place, without taking away its original diner charm, that I was told the loyal customers like.
Overall, I was very impressed with this place and recommend that you give it a try.
I would ask to be served by Lauren but it seems to me you will not go wrong with any of the servers.

The bagels are good. Make sure to ask for less or no butter because they will put more butter than cream cheese. The food, not good! Flavor in the Potatoes are non existent and the eggs, bland. Get bagels only to save yourself the disappointment.
