I was craving my moms sunday dinner on a random Monday so decided to give this spot a try...and I am glad I did... from the friendly service to the great food, everything was great. The portions are huge and flavor is on point.... this has been the only time I've enjoyed oxtail from a restaurant- taste like home cooking.. I see why they have 5 stars!

I just left from my first visit to Bell Gordon's Caribbean Restaurant, and the owner Simone was wonderful. My gf got the curry chicken and I got the jerk chicken. Both were excellent - the meat was tender, the rice was cooked to perfection, and the sauces were flawless. The curry had a small kick to it that really complemented the flavor and the jerk chicken fell right off the bone.

Simone's service was fantastic and she even let us sample the oxtail when I mentioned wanting to try it the next time I visited (it was also delicious - savory and tender, and the sauce again was a perfect accompaniment).

The restaurant was immaculately clean and the prices were more than fair, especially considering the portion sizes which are considerable (we both took lots of food home).

Overall, we had a great experience and we will certainly be back.

If I could give this place 100/5 I would but google wont let me. The food is out of this world, so delicious. I got the brown stew chicken, wasn’t too hungry so I got a small and the portion was absolutely amazing, the cabbage was amazing, alongside the rice and peas. The smell this created in my car is HEAVENLY. Such a phenomenal experience not to mention, the owner is absolutely the sweetest human being ever! If I lived here I’d be here every day.

IF YOU WANT AMAZING AUTHORITY JAMAICAN FOOD THIS IS THE PLACEEEEEE!!!!!!! guys this place is absolutely incredible and the lady that owns and rent a place is even more incredible. weve been back twice now on our trip just because it’s that good!!!!! the customer service is phenomenal, the lady running it is so sweet. You can tell she puts a lot of time and love into her restaurant. the prices are also amazing!!! less than $20 for a huge plate that feeds both my boyfriend and i and we still have left overs. if you haven’t been, please go this is theeeee best food and customer service i’ve ever had. 15/10 i wish i could give this place 6 stars and bring it back home to tennessee with me.

I read the online reviews and they were all 5's. I surely see why. The food is authentic Jamaican served with love and a warm smile.
I purchased two dishes, the Jerk Chicken platter and the Oxtail with rice and peas.
This is served with the sautéed cabbage. I requested curry gravy on my jerk platter and asked Simone to put the succulent sauce on my cabbage. The first bite, I felt like I was in Jamaica. So much wonderful flavor.
When I vacation again, I will definitely come back. Sublime experience.

Caribbean cuisine has officially arrived in Sunrise! I challenge you to name a better bang for your buck, or a more enthusiastic staffer. You won't find flavors this bold, or full-bodied, at any fast-food franchise. Bottom line, there are few more rewarding experiences than washing jerk chicken, or curry goat, down with a ginger beer.

We drove from out of town and were looking for some authentic Jamaica food and bwoy did this restaurant delivered. The food was excellent and the service was even better. 10/10 recommend!!!

I hate Google! Why are there only five stars available to give? This tiny place with a gigantic heart has hooked me. Great food, very generous portions, too generous.😮‍💨 The owner cooks and serves the food, amazing and beautiful person.

Left side jerk chicken, right side oxtail. Both had rice and peas with a side of cabbage! Best Jamaican food in Broward, very affordable as well. These 2 plates can feed a family of 4! Will be back soon for sure.

I like visiting Bell Gordon Restaurant. The owner is very pleasant and polite. The food is tasty and prices of the menu is affordable. My Mom like the food.

Ms Simone was a delight. Food was great, definally will be back to support and enjoy her great food.

This was the best jerk chicken I’ve had in a while. I love jerk and I try it all over south Florida and this place is top tier. They asked if I wanted oxtail gravy on my rice and peas, which of course I did, but the “gravy” included a piece of oxtail that was incredible. I had to get a whole plate of oxtail to bring home to my wife and she said it’s the best oxtail she’s had in south Florida. Wish I lived closer to this place but it’ll be my go-to whenever I’m in Sunrise. Excellent.
