The service was really bad, store smelled like a dirty mop, ice cream had frost bite. When asked for the manager, a man named Alex claimed he was the manager and didn’t make eye contact nor apologize for the poor experience. Ive been a loyal Carvel customer for over 20+ years. Will not return to this location.

I am frequent Carvel customer specifically at the 9360 location. But as of today, (October 29, 2023 at 3:49pm)I will not return here due to the extremely rude and disrespectful cashier that I encountered. I specifically picked out a cake which happened to be the last cake of the size and shade of green that I liked. I asked the cashier if she could write a birthday message on the cake in the same green that was on the perimeter of the cake and she replied yes. (I should’ve known better when she didn’t acknowledge me upon me entering the store). She brings the cake to the register with the birthday message but in a green that was 10 shades darker than I requested. I bring it to her attention and at this point she tells me the green wasn’t going to be the same green because the cake is a different material from the gel they use for writing and I don’t have to buy it if it’s such a big deal to me. This type of treatment is not acceptable especially if you’re promising something that you can’t fulfill. If she had mentioned this to me prior to sabotaging the cake, then it wouldn’t have been an issue. And then to have an attitude with me because it was clear that you made an the error is ridiculous. I’m extremely disappointed with the horrible service that was rendered at this specific location.

Carvel is the perfect end to a night out or a treat for yourself or your family. The staff is friendly & always patient & willing to help those who aren't sure what they may like.. the store & facilities are always clean & stocked. A classic example of an "old fashioned" ice cream shoppe.
CARVEL JUST LOST A CUSTOMER. I went to the Carvel location at 9360 W Commercial Blvd in Sunrise today and saw an ad on the counter that said "double the original soft serve, double cone, $3.99, with a picture of a double cone with one side vanilla ice cream, the other side with chocolate". The fine print said "soft serve only". Okay, understood, so I ordered the soft serve. After ordering the double soft serve I was charged $9.81, (for the cone alone plus 2 kid's soft serve). No where in the ad did it mention this. The manager, Alex, wouldn't honor the advertised price of $3.99. He said that the price shown was for the "cone only" and that he had nothing to do with the franchise's advertising and didn't know how to reach the franchise headquarters.. Really? The ad is in YOUR store. Maybe it should say "cone only, ice cream additional price". Very misleading. It's the principle. You want our money and we want good customer service and honesty.

Usually this is my favorite ice-cream place .Today I was to buy the Sundae ice cream ?, and the young lady with purple hair , her t-shirt was full with hair , probably from pets.She can play home with her pets , but don't use the same shirt from work .A lot of people have bad allergies, which can affect their health.I was almost, almost to gave up and get out from there.Also I bought the medium size , but looks like a small one. The cup was half, not as usual full. ?Too bad for this place, is going down .I give them two stars for the quality of the ice-cream, because otherwise, they don't deserve not even a star.

Carvel is another shop that doesn't change that much for location to location. The factors that make these different are their size and team members. This location was big, bright and filled with a very efficient team.We have been coming to this shop here for a while now and they always have a good team here that greets you with a smile, ready to let you sample any flavor and eager to serve.There is a small spot if you dine in. Clearly this place is for take out... In the Summer many people just stand around the parking lot eat their ice cream and speak with their friends and family. Here in Florida standing outside, day or night is not really an option of you don't want to eating melting ice cream./If you're local to the area and get an urge for Carvel, i definitely recommend that you check out this location. For the record... I do not understand the one star reviews. This is a carvel where you get the ice cream you order. I do not understand the issues that people are bringing up here.

Visits this place all the time..Had the worst service today (9:30pm)...The male server was horrible...It was definitely a turn off...I was being rushed, at the time no other customers were in the store. I had some visitors, who never had Carvel, I recommend Carvel and the server did not eve seem to want to provide a sample/taste.
