Got the orange chicken and chicken teriyaki. Nothing to rave about and it’s edible. The dark chicken meat at some cartilage pieces in each bite and I wasn’t able to finish the full dish because of it. Portions are large and the rice is cooked correctly. Service was quick and polite enough and the atmosphere eating in this food court is great and buzzing with energy. No explicit reason to return.

We ordered chicken ramen , and shrimp tempura . For first it’s looks different than in the pic, for second it is taste for $1 ramen from Walmart , but not for $14 from Japan cafe . Horrible experience.

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me...TAKE YOUR SUSHI DISPLAY SIGN DOWN YOU HAVEN'T SERVED SINCE THE PANDEMIC...False sense of craving for consumers that look forward to it!

My experience at Japan Café was a bit of a mixed bag. I opted for the daily combo, which included two meats and a side. The orange chicken, which I sampled earlier, was absolutely delightful and lived up to my expectations. However, the lo mein and vegetables that came with it were a letdown. They were under seasoned, which unfortunately took away from the overall enjoyment of the meal. The orange chicken remained excellent when I ordered it, but the lack of seasoning in the lo mein and vegetables made the entire dish fall apart. As a result, I ended up spending around $16 and only ate the orange chicken, leaving the rest on my plate. My wife, who also tasted the meal, didn't mind the under seasoning as much, but even she agreed that a little more flavor would have made a significant difference. The café's central location within the mall's food court is convenient, but it also means there's always a massive line. While I appreciated the outstanding orange chicken, I'm hesitant to return for the daily combo given the inconsistency in seasoning. Perhaps the lo mein and vegetables were just an off day occurrence, but I may explore other dining options in the food court on my next visit. However, if you're drawn to their orange chicken like I was, it's still worth giving Japan Café a shot. Just keep in mind that your experience with the side dishes may vary.

The service is extremely horrible!!! They served me my takeout plate as if I was inconveniencing them. They are also very stingy with the food for the price. This was my first and last time getting food from Japan Japan! Don’t waste your money or time, you’re better off going 5 steps down to the next Korean food place or even Cajun grill. They serve the same type of food with way better customer service, customer care and portions for the price.

Extremely nasty employees who stare at you with hate and anger when you speak to them. You can see that they absolutely despise customers and aren't afraid to show it. On top of that, the food is not fresh and extremely cheap quality. Go somewhere else.

I ordered orange chicken, beef teriyaki, rice and lo mein. It doesn’t look like it had any chicken in there. The sauce tasted good but it barely had any chicken and it was tough . The beef teriyaki had an after taste, nothing taste like teriyaki.
