I ordered the chicken breast meal that came with 2 thin slices of tomatoes & fries, with a side order of rice & beans. Since I chose the rice & beans in which I paid 2 dollars extra, they said I couldn’t get the fries that I thought came with the meal, for the rice counted as my 1 side order. I thought this was quite ridiculous, because fries should come standard with a meal and not be itemized as a regular side item. Especially if a meal is over 13 bucks. I was told the fries would be 4 dollars extra, which would have brought my total cost to $23 bucks for a plain 2 piece chicken meal that wasn’t worth the price in value. This restaurant is one of stingy establishments who give patrons small portions (side items), from a hungry man's standpoint, that's egregious.
To add insult to injury, the rice & bean tasted awful. The rice tasted like it was boiled in dish soap, and the flavor of the beans was not pleasant at all. The chicken breast and tomato slices was decent, but everything else was trash.
On top of paying $19 bucks for 2 pieces of chicken, 2 tomato slices, and for a kiddie cup of rice & beans, I felt cheated in the value department because I didn’t get enough value nor my money worth of food. Basically, I wasted $19 dollars. I would have been better off just going to Pollo Tropical or KFC. I would have definitely saved a lot of precious time and money. Nevertheless, if the owners are reading my review, y’all do better next time for your new customers. Because I will not be coming back a second time, I’m big on first impressions.

Our family has been coming to La Perrada Company for almost 3 years, and it’s always a highlight of our trips/vacation to Fort Lauderdale as we visit at least three times a year! The food is consistently delicious. My personal favorite is the Maicitos Plus, while my kids can’t get enough of the Burger Paisa, Arepa Rellena, and Perro Colombiano.
Last night was no exception—the kids loved the music and videos playing on the TVs, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is fun, the service is always friendly, Erick always takes good care of our family and the food never disappoints. We will definitely continue to recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Colombian flavors and a welcoming, family-friendly environment.

Good food and carry out experience. We ordered a the largest hot dog they offer, mixed maicitos and an empanada. The hot dog definitely gets 5 stars, and the empanada was well done and crunchy. On the other hand, the maicitos were on the average side. Service over the phone was great! I would come back.

I used to come here often and always enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, my visit last week was disappointing, and the food quality was not the same as before.
We ordered two perros, two hamburgers, and two salchipapas. When I asked for sauces at the drive-thru, I was given only a few. I explained that the order was for multiple people and asked if each person could have one. The employee stated that she did not want to give any more sauces.
I hope this was just an off day, but the overall experience, especially the customer service, was not what it used to be.

A really disappointing experience at La Perrada Company. I used to visit frequently when it was La Perrada del Gordo—the food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the music and atmosphere were always on point. Now, under the new name, this is my second time ordering, and it’s been a letdown both times.
The food has noticeably changed in flavor and portion size. On top of that, this is the second time I’ve been charged a service fee without being given the option to pay in cash, even though I called in my order. When I asked why I was being charged, I was told it was for “to-go and financial transactions,” which makes no sense since I wasn’t using delivery or a third-party app. I even left a tip!
This kind of hidden fee is unethical and leaves a bad taste—literally and figuratively. I’m sad to say I may not order from here again, and I’ll be sure to let others know about the changes. It’s disappointing to see a once-great place go downhill like this

We placed an order by phone for pickup through the drive thru. When we arrived, we waited several minutes and rang the bell three times before anyone came out. Eventually, a man appeared at the window but didn’t greet us or show any courtesy, he just asked, “What’s the name of the order?” I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, assuming he might’ve been having a rough day, but that’s no excuse for poor customer service. The main reason for our disappointment came after we paid. Over the phone, we were told one total, but when we arrived, the price was different. We also chose not to leave a tip because the service didn’t meet expectations. However, when we got home, we noticed an extra “room fee” of $5.99 had been added to our bill without our approval. This felt disrespectful and dishonest, it’s not about the amount, but about the principle. To make things worse, the food quality was not what it used to be, which was very disappointing since we’ve always enjoyed La Perrada in the past. Unfortunately, this experience has left us feeling let down. Please be careful and always double-check your bill. We won’t be coming back.

Met the owner Gordo last night! Told my wife and I his story and future plans. Was super nice, and also from my wife’s home town Cali Colombia! We both had burgers that were amazing and some Empanadas. We will definitely be back! I recommend this place to everyone.

I went to La Perrada Company tonight with my fiancé and let me tell y’all, this place is something else. Aside from the amazing taste, the service and environment was the highlight for our first time visit, not only we were greatly greeted, but felt like we were actually invited to the restaurant as family and not as just costumers. If you’re looking for good food and great service I totally recommend this place! The Perro con huevos is top tier by the way!
My family loves coming to La Perrada. My son in law absolutely LOVES their hamburger. Kids love their batidos and we just love the food and the great family atmosphere.
