I have been coming to Long Island Cafe for a long time now and it is absolutely one of the best cafes around. The friendly staff, who remember you and your drink order, the food and the prices are hard to beat. The breakfast potatoes are my favorite, but the omelettes and pancakes are divine too. PS have the breakfast tacos whenever they are available.

We had breakfast here today between 8:30am-9:30am. The home fries were delicious and savory. I had scrambled eggs, English muffin, home fries, and French toast. My husband had a burger with an over medium fried egg, no tomatoes and a side of home fries. He also had coffee with about 3 refills. I had raspberry tea. We both had water.Monica took care of us and did so in an excellent manner.I definitely recommend this place to anyone who either lives or is visiting the Sunrise area.
