You would think it’s a container owned by them and that you leave it when you finish, but it’s a sketchy way for them to upcharge you without notice. Being disgustingly overcharged 52$ for 2 drinks because of a fake cup is unacceptable. At least let ppl know!

This place used to be OK, but the last time I went I was disappointed. They changed the menu and the food and the drinks are more expensive, smaller portions. The service was OK, but when I got the bill (4 people 200$+), a strange surcharge of 15% was included without my approval and nobody told us in advance. I don't think this is a good business model, unless this place is a tourist trap

The bartender was extremely rude. He ignored my request and made me a giant drink when I wanted a regular one. He overcharged me deliberately. The atmosphere isn't bad, but the staff are so terrible. I would never come back to this place. It's a tourist trap.

First time coming here this year. when I walk past this everytime I love dancing and vibing with the sweetest, nicest ,beautiful hostest, Kat jjojjkakkackka unbelievable sweetheart her energy and positive vibes i ever met in Fort Lauderdale she is a keeper! great drinks, great food great music great staff and managers!! Verdict: average restaurant, try another one in the area like Cheesecake Factory if not busy
Pros: Speed of cooking food is really quick Steaks tasted good
Cons: -average drinks -uncomfortable chairs, you feel like a kid having to slouch over the table -server wasn’t writing down our order and made three mistakes (someone got a quesadilla they never ordered, ordered vegetables without plantains as a side and got a ton of plantains etc). Servers should write down the order to avoid mixing things up. They should have some shift supervisor making sure things are flowing properly -while we were greeted quite quickly it took a long time to get the bill, they staff seemed to have gotten busy and forgotten about us -above average price for the quality of food

Our waitress never brought us water even though we asked multiple times. We got charged 18% for “Outdoor Patio Charge.” that was never told to us we would be charged more for that. There’s no hostess table or anyone to seat you so you kind of stand there for about 5-10 minutes until someone notices you. Drinks and food were inconsistent with the menu. Save your money and your time.

The drinks here are overpriced and watered down. I paid $26 (possibly more after tipping) for a medium-sized mojito, which was definitely not worth it.
Additionally, the hours of operation stated they close at 2 AM, but that was not the case. On February 26, we gathered a group of about 12 people to celebrate a birthday. At 11:00 PM, staff informed us they were closing early, claiming they hadn’t updated the hours online. As of today (March 7, 2025), the hours still have not been updated.
By 11:40 PM—well before midnight—they shut off the music and turned on the lights, completely killing the atmosphere. It was extremely disappointing. The music selection was also poor. Since our group was practically the only one there, we asked them to change it, but they refused, claiming they “couldn’t.” It was clear they just didn’t want to.
Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend it.
Great place to pass with friends and family. I enjoyed the place recommended for trying. Thanks for the good memories

The server refused to give my wife the card reader and told her just to sign it and put whatever gratuity she wants not making her aware that gratuity was already added. Have left several messages for the manager Javier if that's even his name, they do not pick up the phone so now I have to go in there and let them know that unlike tourist this is not how you treat, regulars and local residence. They opened up, los Ranchos and have totally ruined it.!

Fast service. I ordered a breast with fried plantain and a margarita and paid 50 dollars! THIS BUSINESS CHARGES A SURCHARGE of 18% of the ACCOUNT. I understand that it should not be like this since it should be suggested and not mandatory. The amount of $50 is excessive for the type of dish you order. Please do not support this type of behavior since the “tip” is separate from the 18% that they already charged you. So how much was I going to end up paying?

I have been to Los Ranchos in another location and the food was great this locations food left much to be desired. Great atmosphere and music.
