It seems to me that I have already ordered at least eight times from you, the food is delicious
My favorite dish is the special okra, I like the mix between beef, fish, shrimp... it’s also very spicy
I also had my husband try it, he prefers Djolof rice
Overall rating is a 4.0
The food is so good but here is a detailed explanation
There isn't a lot of African food options in south Florida but I’m glad I found this place! Where im from in Jersey near Irvington, it’s an African community so I been fortune to always have good African food around. Now the okra with the chicken n fufu is fire!!! Flavor wise…. That’s the only thing I ever get. Now the chicken they use in the dish is fried I believe because it’s a little tough. Wish it was stewed but still really good flavor over all. I did get the jollof and it was super flavorful. The service is a little slow to get your food but I think there is only one person in the kitchen so I can’t complain. They play good music. Not too loud… i don’t go as often as I would like because it’s 30min away from me. Definitely great place great food great people. The price isnt bad because the food is so good.
The Best Nigeria restaurant in South Florida, food amazing, service was amazing. Super clean. I. Love with the food ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👏👏
They gave us food that was for a catering event. They knew that they did not prepare to serve customers as well as a catering event. This was what I pay $52 for there was no plantain Nothing was as described. Other patrons were there very upset because they put in orders hours ago, and because they prioritize their catering event they did not have food for walk and sit down. Customer is very disappointed will never come here again.
Very 1st Time trying African Food & Grateful for the Experience. Here's what We have to say about it All.
The Food was Okay for the Most Part but Definitely needs some Work. While the Food was Seasoned, Not All of it was Great. All the Meats were Tough, they Need to be Pressure Cooked until Soft & Tender.
The Price you Pay for the Portion of Food you Receive is Bad 👎🏾 Your Paying for Sauce 🤷🏾♂️
Imagine $20 for a Plate of Rice with 5 Little Peices of Chicken 🍗 (Chopped off Drumsticks Tops) with 7 Thinly Sliced Plantains🍌
Imagine $20 for 5 Small Peices of Beef 🥩 with a Spoonful of Egusi with Fufu.
The Okra 🥒 was Plenty in the $20 Goat 🐐 Dish but the Meat was 5 Boney Peices with Fufu.
The $10 Fried Fish 🐟 was 3 Small Tail Ends Peices. Not even Worth it 😒
The $10 for Goat 🐐 Stew was 5 Boney Peices with Hardly any Meat.
The Fufu was Completely Flavorless (That's just how it is, it's an Aquired Taste. You Absolutely have to eat it with the Sauces & Meats for Flavor.)
The Eba Cassava was Almost Flavorless as well except for Slight Sour & Bitter Taste to it. (Again a Aquired Taste & Needs to be Eaten with Sauces & Meats)
All in All, The Food itself was Ok, but it's Definitely Small Portions 🤏🏾 for Huge Prices 💵
My family and I really enjoyed Rejoice 's African cuisine.
We're from Greenville, SC on our way to board a cruise, the reviews brought us here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I recommend this restaurant!
Ordered food from the restaurant regularly whenever I go to the area cos I live about 1 hr from them. I wanted to go get only food in that area and I have been calling since 1:06 pm (more than 2 hours) to ask if they have want I wanted to buy before I head there. The number was either busy or not connecting.
Not cool cos I'm not driving one hour for food if I can't find out if what I want is available.
So I tried this place a few years ago because of tiktok amd the hypenon african style food at the time lol I.. DID NOT like it AT ALL, not that the food itself was gross i just didnt like the taste of it, particularlythe one that peiple on tiktok recommended, I decided to give it another try and try something different and I am SO glad that I did! It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I will DEFINITELY get african food again, the flavor is OUSTANDING! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! If I could give it 10 stars I would!
I like the jollof rice and asun goat and generally the stew is ok. The efo riro and the egusi soups were not so great. They lack the flavor and spices I usually enjoy having Nigerian food.
They have the best fufu I ever had

My review is long overdue , when I entered the restaurant it was pitch black in there as if you are in a movie theater which is odd , the jolof rice was okay a hint of spice and tomato paste , I do not know if me and my boyfriend cornered the wrong thing or if the food was just subpar , my boyfriend ordered fried beef chunks they were hard and had no taste , not sure if you need to have an acquired taste or if I need to give it a second try
