Featured Blonde Roast

In Latin America, coffee farms are often run by families, with their own homes on the same land where their coffee grows. We've sipped coffee with these farmers for decades, sitting on their verandas, overlooking the lush beauty of the coffee trees rolling out in the distance. Most times it was a lightly roasted coffee like this one. It took us more than 80 tries to get it right-mellow and flavorful with a nice softness.

This location is closest to my house. That would be a great thing if they weren’t the slowest Starbucks I’ve ever visited. It doesn’t matter which part of the day. I always order using the app and then have to wait in the drive thru line for 5-10 minutes AFTER the app tells me that my order is ready. So by the time I get my chai latte, it’s lukewarm. But I won’t say anything because that would cause me to have to wait even longer while they remake it. I will literally...
