Personally, I dont mind he quiet atmosphere. Especially when you're with family, it good for conversation. The waiters are also really nice, and the food is good. My favorites are the Udon Miso Soup, the Sweet Potato Tempura, and the Salmon Yuki. Not jinkxing myself when I say this, but I've never gotten food poisoning and I don't ever plan on getting it there. Great staff, and not a lot of wait. We dine there often.
