I normally go to the Mcnab location, which is always crowded, and I was happy to find out they have several locations with this one being the closest to me. I've gone twice around 4pm each time, and even tho they run out of the good patties (shrimp to be exact), I was always able to leave with beef patties and coco bread. Each time patties and bread being fresh, patties hot and bread warm.. the patties are stuff with meat to the point it falls out the patty. I've also tried the sweet potato pudding and it had me licking my fingers it was so good lol. Overall, portions are good, great flavors and the prices are great compared to other bakeries and Patty places. I've seen a lot of comments about the staff attitude, l've noticed with a lot of Jamaicans in the U.S that's just how they stay, is it right, no! But most of them don't even know they come off strong or rude. Now at this location and Mcnab location, I haven't experienced any bad service, I was always greeted upon entering and always helped, hopefully others give it another try and have better service experience

Love the patty and the coco bread. The ackee part and loaf is really delicious as well. The staff always courteous and friendly. Nuff good vibes at this Taste Rite Jamaican Bakery Store. Also they sell Chippies banana chips. Bless

First of all, the good news is that the product is good, some better than others but generally very good. Now comes the bad part. The customer service leaves much to be desired. I have walked into the location on 44th street numerous times and turned and left. Why? There seem to be by the servers more of an interest in socializing than actually serving the customers. And then if you have the time and patience to stay till eventually being served it is almost like begging for it. I live in the neighborhood for the past 20+ years so its not like I am just passing through as I have been your customer for quite a while. Taste-rite bakery has competition and if you have a awesome product but customer service which is horrible, the free positive advertising that has to do with word of mouth becomes the iceberg that sinks the ship. And guess where the most damage is done? Social media which is the closest thing to instant karma while not being confrontational. Fix the problem! Oh and by the way. I have been struggling with the decision to post this review and last Wednesday helped me decide when that was the last time I had set foot in your place of business. Good luck.👍🏾

Discovered it was nearby and was excited to go try one of these great patties I've been hearing about only to be rudely greeted and dismissed because they were out of patties. Disappointed is the nicest word I can use as I just walked in and I was there less than 2 minutes. I'll have to be desperate for a patty to go back to this location, the cashier was awful and incredibly rude.

These patties are so delicious I have been obsessed with them! I really recommend if you like patties. Literally don’t get patties if there not from here💕

Audrey worker on 44th St she has no listening or customer service skills ..she is very rude and shouldn't be working customer service jobs .called me out my name for her messing up (my order)..she a on going problem that needs to fixed...I will never go back there.
