Where do we begin. Im no golf pro, but iv played my fair share of holes at courses throughout the state from Breakers palm beach to Plantation Preserve. For starters this course is nice, the grounds are kept well and the carts run. The staff on the other hand could use some pointers from our friends at Chic-fil-a. We agreed to pay for the ladies to literally ride around ( full price il add since only 1 person is a sunrise resident but all of us live in surrounding cities ex Tamarac, Pompano and Fort Lauderdale) Our group had 6 people total, although 3 of the ladies with us did not play. Around hole 10 a gentlemen approached us and asked us who was playing the hole to which we responded all of us and he proceeded to give us a lecture for quite literally 3 minutes about how many calls he had received about someone delaying the course. Iv been asked to speed up playing or even stop playing by workers from clubs before but this gent had a disdain towards our group in part, to avoid confrontation we simply said "Okay no problem." and asked his name, which he didn't answer and simply drove off. We break off and play 4 and 2. The next hole has 3 carts waiting to play, we look behind us with 3 carts also waiting to play. I was confused and a little angry as to why we received the scolding when the course seemed to simply be over booked or possibly busy. I never forget a face and will update the review with whom it was when I decide to go play this course again. 1 star for decent course -4 on staff that should be retrained on how to approach and handle situations,

Nice course and good value for the money

Tony in the pro shop is a rude jackass that can’t multi task and help with tee times.

Dick Gerdes

Very well kept excellent greens

Good enough course but they make you pay FULL price as if golfing 18 just to ride with me. Unbelievable lack of accommodation.

Good golf course for practice

The maintenance people on the golf course do not respect animals! Like the Ducks, they throw away the cars they use for this purpose (Maintenance). Being the owner of a home next to this field, I see the lack of Respect and Responsibility of these workers towards Wildlife, we are a group of Outraged people To see this ill-intentioned behavior on the part of these people, who have been told verbally to respect them and be careful, what they do is make fun, and do it more and more frequently. If these animals do not fly away when they see the Maintenance cars almost on top of them, more people would be run over. We thought about making a lawsuit public, since we have proof of it with photos and videos.

This is a nice executive course. Although short, it definitely isn’t easy and challenges my short game. This course is a good place to come and get a quick round of golf in.

Beautiful course with polite staff. We were permitted to play a few more holes well after the 5:30 cut off and met a handful of great lads in the groups ahead and behind us.Will return for 18 again soon.

My husband and I love golfing at this course. Lately our experience there was a bit disappointing as it seems to have gone down hill a bit due to one of the nearby apartment complexes as it's surrounded by a few different ones. Residences of the complex walking the course in middle of the day during peak season and peak hours. Otherwise, the staff there from the guys that check you in, beverage cart girls, and rangers are all friendly. Will still keep golfing the course. Greens are well taken care of.

Seems as though management doesn’t want you coming there unless you live in Sunrise. Every course in the state offers you a discount if you are a Florida resident. Was charged the exact price of a tourist and told I don’t live in Sunrise.? Waayy over priced as well… unless you live in the city of Sunrise that is. Smh?

It's an executive course, so lots of par 4s and 3s; only 1 par 5. Best for practice, not any serious games. People ahead of our group (and my own group) were teeing off multiple balls and playing best ball. So, for a casual day on the course, it's a great fit. Great price too. The condition of the course could use some (re: a lot of) maintenance. Doesn't have a weed problem, but the tee boxes and fairways are filled with divots. The staff was friendly and attentive both when we got to the bag drop and when we were leaving. Actually better than the nicer courses we play.

Very rude lady at front desk and if you read other reviews others have had problems. Our daughter’s school was playing at the course mind you they have played at several even private clubs were we are not members and they let us eat in restaurant and sit and wait for our daughter. Regardless if we purchased food or not. Poor customer service.
