Stay away - bad food, not authentic South Indian food , horrible service and disgusting attitude... Complaint to manager owner on food quality and service fell on deaf ears... Men's restroom is a health hazard with leaking and overflowing urinals..as on 30 Dec 18...No apology nor concern for customer safety or satisfaction..if a health safety officer is reading this, please take action

Worst restaurant I have ever been too. We were 7 of us, none of us were satisfied with any of the dishes presented. Overpriced and worsts taste. After being to many Indian restaurants, I can assure you there Dosas are the worst. None of the dishes were good. They infact mixed water in chutney as they ran out. Please stay away.

Worst taste and ambience. Not authentic at all. Also very expensive for the quality of food. Water glasses have marks and dust in them

The food is half way decent but the service is pretty bad. I've been here twice and on both occasions they were understaffed. Looks like this restaurant handles the overflow from Woodlands.

We were looking forward to having an authentic South Indian meal when we had gone for a vacation to Florida. Unfortunately it was one of the most disappointing experiences we have had. We were surprised to see a Mediterranean buffet on the side. The food can be described as insipid at best. To call it South Indian is an insult to the South Indian flavours that have captivated anyone who has a taste for good food. The idly was stale , the vada was double fried.... wasn't good at all ... can't recommend it at all anymore, quality has gone worse.

The food is very delicious the service was great, I was able to tolerate the spice food, the place is clean, the bathroom very clean, the marsala tea nice and hot, served in small aluminum dishes, I recommend it. Small sweet at the end always very enjoyable, love the music, it make you feel like you are in India. Come visit this place excellent VEGETARIAN food fresh delicious

I have visited many Indian restaurants over the years and I must admit this will be one of my favorites. The lunch buffet is extraordinary in selection and quality from the aloo gobi to service

Basically this is not a Udipi Restaurant. Udipi is a niche cuisine but this is an Indian restaurant from some food from everywhere around the country. The food was average and the service was poor. The lunch buffet was very average and the dosa were very plain with no ghee/butter/oil. The Sambhar was very liquid. Better to say this is an Indian restaurant and not name it udipi . We drove 30 miles to come eat here and realized at the first instant that it's not udipi.

In South Florida for work and to visit family. My uncle insisted on trying this Indian buffet. Wow! Off the hook in every respect. Lots of diversity of dishes and spice level. The food tasted very fresh and herbaceous. Definitely will be returning when I'm in town again.

Visiting so decided to try out, very very disappointed. NOT authentic at all. Dosa was burned, uttapam was raw. Chaat cold and tasteless. It was truly awful even the ambiance is not at all inviting. They are doing heavy injustice to the global Udipi name. Will NOT be going again. Owner was server and hospitable but that was the only positive thing.

I happened upon Udipi a few weeks ago and was so pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere is not much to speak of, but the food is delicious. Really home made, filling, with just the right amount of spiciness. And the bread is to die for! The prices can't be beat I'll head back there next time I'm in the area!

Vegetarian Indian cuisine so good you don't miss the meat. I had been here twice both time during dinner. If you come before 4pm they have a lunch buffet. Today we ate appetizer only and shared it on the table among each other. The bread came out of the oven steamy hot and stuffed with a wonderful chick pea curry or potato onion curry. We ordered two one was fried and the shape of a football the other was like a crape that was rolled both are huge! We also ordered a mix plate with many different dipping sauce. Everything was to be eaten with hands, infact they didn't give us plates which added to the ambiance. The waiter was very helpful and explained everything to us. We had good food and my family of 6 had an interesting and fun time enjoying it.

Ive been craving dosa for a while and didn't know where to find them in south Florida, so when I heard about this place I came with high expectations. My friends and i ordered the masala dose, pani puri, and samosa chaat. When my friends and I arrived, we were the only ones in the restaurant. Despite this, our food took a while to be served and there were mistakes with our order. The servers were very nice though and I could tell they were well meaning. As for the food, the pani puri was not that great, it lacked flavor. The dosa was really big and could easily be shared by two people. I was warned that it was "spicy" but it was pretty underwhelming in terms of spice to me. I'd say the samosa chaat was probably the best tasting item from what we ordered, and even then it wasn't enough to make up for our expectations falling short in the other two items. They did have a lot of items though, so it is a good option for vegetarians who want vegetarian Indian food. Overall I'd say the food was just ok.

Very slow in serving. Food is ok. Samosa chaat was too sweet. Poori is ok. Ambience is very dull. Will not go again.
