Staff is attentive and friendly however the food as decent as it is needs to be critiqued ,as an example they heat up a simple tuna sandwich when you order the bread toasted you get a hot tuna sandwich as they just throw the entire thing on the sandwich grill and when I complained they denied it , they also load it with mayo , therefore if healthy proper eating is your thing the Carrot across the way is the way to go . By the way when I told the owner that I was writing the review he told me they I’m ruining his business. My response is that my dinning experience was not positive therefore I amHonest regarding the situation and save those concerned about what goes into their mouths such experiences

Waiter service above and beyond professional, pleasant atmosphere, outdoors and indoors however catering to a Jewish clientele where everyone is into healthy eating , you should not get a side of anything drenched in oil such as hash browns, inexcusable as well using cheap white bread instead of whole wheat , sourdough or rye . Backwards to use that dough rich white bread , tons of mayo and oil in everything else.

Asked for a toast with goat cheese, avocado and arugula. The toast was the one you buy in the supermarket, thin and without taste. They toasted it 20 minutes ago because it was super cold. They were cheap on avocado as well.I would not eat here again.

This place is as far as I know the only affordable breakfast place in Surfside. It's a no-frills spot that's great to bring the family. It's basic, clean, the food is decent and overall we had a really fun time! I loved the savory crepe that I ordered, and the omelettes came with a big portion.

I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. The guy at the counter (I assume the owner?) is the nicest guy, always greeting with a smile. We look forward to coming to Miami just to enjoy Cafe Vert (and the Gluten free option is awesome for us gluten intolerant). The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. I am not someone who usually reviews, but I was very impressed with the service.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free option is amazing.Kid-friendliness: There was space for the kids and they were kind.

Good food, but horrible service. If you are in a hurry, don't come here as it take a long time to get the food and we had to ask 3 times for our bill.

Horrible experience. I would not suggest going here. The customer service is terrible and the waiters have such attitude. Out of the entire store there was only one nice waiter. We ordered something with an add on and the waiter tried to change the order for us to pay more. When we said something his attitude shifted to be a condescending egotistical person that seemed like all he was in it for was somewhat of a power trip. On top of that the food is not fresh tasting and was way overpriced for the portions they give. The wait time is also beyond long leading me to believe they are picking it from the farm as the orders come in. Think twice before going here.

Easily the best place in Surfside.100% family run, a mom and daughter team are making all of your food. It gets packed, so be patient as every meal is being prepared with love by women who only have two hands.I'd give this place 10 stars if I could.
