Located in the heart of Surfside, FL, this cute and very elegant coffee shop looks like a boutique, with such a pretty inside decoration and wonderful staff. My daughter and I tried so many delicious sweets. Chocolate mouse, macaroons ( I had the pistachio one) so flavorful and moist. All their sweets are made with French butter as they told us, and you can honestly feel and taste the difference. These pastries were so light and I loved how them. I parked on a spot I found in the street and paid with the phone application; PayByPhone. Thank you, everyone, Merci! Mi hija y yo probamos muchos dulces deliciosos. Cremas de chocolate, macarrones (comi el de pistacho) de sabor delicioso y textura esponjosa. Todos sus dulces están hechos con mantequilla francesa, como nos dijeron, y honestamente puedes sentir y probar la diferencia. Estos pasteles eran tan livianos y me encantaron. Merci Odile, Enfin de vraies pâtisseries dignes de ce nom. Nous avions commandé un assortiment de vos mini pâtisseries (les bouchées) et nous vous avons fait confiance pour le choix. Chaque bouchée était un vrai enchantement. Vos réalisations sont d’une finesse incroyable, l’équilibre saveur/texture parfait et votre présentation..., vous êtes une artiste. Vous avez mis nos papilles en effervescence. Gourmet Temptations c’est désormais l’incontournable pour toutes nos futures envies douceurs. C’est un peu loin de chez nous (Brickell) mais vous valez mille fois le détour. Encore bravo et merci et à très bientôt.

I stumbled upon this tiny French pastry shop while walking towards the beach near Bal Harbour shops. I wasn't craving for desserts but I was hypnotized by the cute window display and clean ultra white design with minimalistic furniture. This is somewhat different from a typical pastry shop. They only sell miniature gourmet cupcakes, domes, eclairs, macarons, tarts and truffles which are nicely presented in enclosed glass displays. I tried a couple of chocolate domes and one lemon macaron and they were quite exquisite. They also offer coffee and espresso but I didn't have any. I told the owner that I will have to come back during the holidays to get a box of macarons to give as a present. FYI, the beautiful black gift boxes can accommodate 6 or 12 macarons. They also have pre-packaged marshmallow bags and chocolate or nougat bars on the counter. Mini cupcakes are $1.50 each, Macarons $2.50 and the domes vary. It is a little pricey for the small size but the quality is worth it!
