First of all, there is only one waiter for all the restaurant, except that the food was horrible. We just left everything on the table we paid and we came out .never been in a restaurant so bad.We took one schnitzel plate and looks like piece of wood. The salad was old my wife took a salmon was smelling.I don’t recommend anybody to go in this restaurant

We went on Sunday there was one other table. The service is horrendous it should just be self serve restaurant. We sat for good 10 minutes before getting a menu. We didn't see our server ever again. My grilled vegetable came out 15 minutes after everything else, by then I didn't want them. We needed more water the other table also wanted more water. I finally went in to ask for water, to go boxes and check. The lack of service is what will close this place down.

Delicious Flavors and Cozy Atmosphere:My experience at KooLulu was nothing short of delightful. The flavors of the food were simply outstanding, leaving me craving more even after the last bite. Despite missing out on the mint lemonade, the regular lemonade was a refreshing treat, bursting with flavor. For lunch, I opted for the Short Rib Sandwich, and it was a culinary masterpiece. The combination of overnight short rib, tahini, chimichurri, lemon cream, grilled onion, tomato, and confit garlic nestled in a warm pita was a symphony of flavors that left me satisfied and impressed. My friend went for the Jerusalem Hummus, and it was a revelation. The homemade hummus paired perfectly with tahini, pulled kebab, grated tomato, schug, parsley, and olive oil, creating a harmonious blend of textures and tastes that pleased the palate. The ambiance of KooLulu was cozy and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating options available. However, parking in Surfside can be a bit challenging, as it mainly relies on street parking unless you're willing to walk from the local municipal parking lots nearby. The only drawback was that the service was a little slow, but the delicious food more than made up for it.Overall, my experience at KooLulu was exceptional. From the delectable food to the charming atmosphere, it's a culinary gem worth visiting again and again.

They have a good selection of authentic israeli food. The dessert was also delicious but it wasn't listed on menu so I had to ask the waitress about it. The prices are on the higher end for everything, which is common in this part of the miami area.

Fresh Mediterranean food with prompt service (unusual combination in the Miami kosher scene). The super bowls were great. Vegan and gluten free options.

I returned to this place I once held in high regard for its exceptional cuisine, particularly the fresh pita bread. My anticipation, however, quickly turned to disappointment under the new ownership. The first noticeable change is the menu, which has lost some of its original charm and variety. The hummus, previously a perfect balance of flavors, now suffers from a lack of salt, diminishing its appeal. This small but crucial detail significantly impacts the overall dining experience. Moreover, the pita shawarma, a dish I looked forward to, failed to meet expectations. Not only was the flavor underwhelming, but the aftertaste was unpleasant. This marked a significant departure from the quality I remembered.Adding to the letdown is the reduction in portion sizes. The plates are noticeably smaller, detracting from the value and satisfaction of the meal. This change, coupled with the drop in culinary standards, left me nostalgic for the previous owners’ offerings. In summary, the current iteration of is a shadow of what it once was. The reduction in portion sizes and the decline in food flavors under the new management have significantly marred what used to be a delightful dining experience. For those who cherished the old owners menu, the new version is, regrettably, a disappointment.

Waited 20 minutes before being acknowledged. Server not very friendly. We were 3 diners and ordered exactly the same items. One of the lemonades had a couple of ounces missing. Seemed it spilled on the tray, then server jammed mint leaves back in the glass. She was surprised when I pointed it out, and took 15 minutes to bring another. She actually spilled some of the liquid on one of us and didn't even notice. She served 3 lemonades, 3 bowls of soup, but only 2 entrees. She argued and blamed us, and refused to take any responsibility for her mistake. The food was good, but the bad service left a bad taste in our mouth. We will not be returning or recommending your restaurant. To: KooLuLu Miami (owner) answer to shon Z - 3 months ago. Surprised you compared your "fine dining" restaurant to McDonald's, a fast food place! Everyone knows McDonald's does not serve mushrooms, so, of course, you will not get mushrooms on your burger. It's McDonald's! But the request to put sliced mushrooms in a diner's meal should not be met with a bad attitude. The service makes or breaks the dining experience. We too had bad service last Thursday afternoon. There are so many kosher restaurants in the area, you avoid the ones where the server gets your order wrong than argues and blames you for her mistake.
