I made a reservation for 8:30 PM and arrived at 8:40 PM, only to be told we had to sit outside on the sidewalk next to the street. We declined, as we had a reservation for indoor seating. The staff then said if we waited 20 minutes, a table inside would be available.
After waiting, the host told us we could only sit outside and pressured me to decide immediately, even though the server had repeatedly promised to secure an indoor table. I repeatedly asked the host to coordinate with the server to clarify the situation, but she refused, saying it wasn’t her responsibility. It was extremely frustrating to have to chase staff just to get a table we had reserved.
The food was mediocre at best. The dessert, specifically the pecan dessert, was unpleasant. Sushi was acceptable, but overall, the experience was disappointing.
To make matters worse, we were left waiting outside for over 20 minutes while other guests were seated, and the excuse given was that we arrived late—despite having a reservation. It seemed clear the table was never ready for us.
Overall, the service was unprofessional, disorganized, and customer care was lacking. I do not recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

This place charged my card $793.35 August 31st even after I canceled our reservation for Friday night the 29th. When I called - Christina said there’s nothing to do even though we were never there, literally canceled the reservation. No one from management on sight to talk to and all she did is hang up the phone when I asked to speak to someone about this. Disgusting behavior and service.

Food was absolutely spectacular and quite reasonably priced for a date for two. We had two dishes with meat and we felt like the restaurant was not stingy with the amount of food that was served (unlike a few other places we had visited). Service was friendly and charming and food came out very quickly despite the fact that the restaurant seemed quite busy. Atmosphere was not overly formal but not casual, music was at a reasonable volume, and felt very friendly to our date and families with kids who can sit down and enjoy a meal. Would recommend!

I came to Miami for vacation and my experience at Kosh was not a good experience at all. I came in on 03/31/25 at around 9:00 pm and wasn’t greeted or recognized by any staff member. After finally finding someone they sat my group down at a table that didn’t have any settings set up, after setting up the plates and cutlery they gave us menus. We sat down for 15-20 min without a single person serving us. They were extremely understaffed with only 2 servers for about 20 people in the restaurant. Also after 20 min of waiting for a server, finally someone showed up and by that time we were fed up so we nicely told the server we are going to leave because it just took to long for someone to even address us when we came in. After we said this the server said “If you don’t like the menu you can just say” She was extremely unprofessional and rude. I can’t rate the food because I didn’t get the food but if you think the food is good I wouldn’t dine in, take out your food so you don’t have to deal with unprofessional staff.

When we originally booked, every time slot was available, so it’s clear they overbooked and are now trying to shuffle us around to accommodate others. It’s a classless move and shows zero regard for guests’ plans. There are plenty of far better restaurants in Miami that treat their customers with professionalism and respect.

I had a very disappointing experience. I ordered a steak cooked medium, but it was served well done. When I pointed this out, they replaced it, but the second steak was inconsistent, half was well done, and the other half was medium.
To make matters worse, when I tried to discuss reducing the “suggested” (but clearly mandatory) service charge due to my poor experience, the waitress refused. She claimed the service charge only covers the front of house staff, not the kitchen, which is obviously not true.
It’s frustrating to receive such poor service and then be forced to pay a full service charge without any acknowledgment of the issues I faced. I won’t be returning.

I went to Kosh tonight, sushi was very good, fresh and very flavorful. For main course I had a truffle risotto and a reserve steak. Service was perfect and dishes came out fast. I would definitely recommend the place.
