When you order a Poke BOWL one would expect it to come in a BOWL, this is $18 US dollars mind you!!! This is supposed to be a main by the way, this is barely an appetizer. Looks pretty and all but I could care less. New ownership is ruining this place I once enjoyed for several years. Safe to say this will be my last visit after my previous few experiences. Go elsewhere. Similar price range at least you’ll get your value.

We had some very tasty rolls and other sushi. Very fresh and big size rolls. If you want a delicious meal in a cozy spot in Surfside this is the place.
Love the food, amazing staff.. we come to this restaurant about 3xwk and never disappoints. The only interesting suggestion is that during later afternoon, usually the lights are off and it’s very weird… 😂 hope they do less light savings and turn on the lights before it’s completely dark .. bring candles ! 😂😂🥂

It all started summer of 2015. It was that year I met my best friend and partner in crime, Joshua Paul Peña Kligman.
The rest was history. Hijinx galore, robots and more, and I had no idea what could be in store. Little did I know, the best was yet to come.
Ponzu sauce. Wasabi paste. Late nights on the beach after a more that ironic meal of highest quality tuna sashimi. What place means to me, I can’t describe in Western prose. So instead, I’ll attach my magnum opus; a Haiku entitled: Republic of Sushi.
I love tuna fish. Soy sauce also pretty nice. Same with crispy rice!
