We love this little gem ! Nice restaurant, quite busy but good service. The menu has great options and some special diner offers. The food was fresh and excellent ! This wouldn’t be a gastronomic option but excellent place for family diner or as a couple. Pricing is reasonable for the quality so we will surely be back and recommend it !

Great food. Not the cleanest place and the service leaves something to be desired but the food is very good. Also the price is not that much less than Makoto so a bit hard to justify. Would be better if they had some lunch

The food was great the fish was fresh the service was Okay. Not horrible but not great the server seemed to have the whole space and looked a little busy. The atmosphere is not great it’s an old place looks a little rundown the AC vents are dirty but overall it’s a classic spot for locals.

In our household we consider Sushi Republic our second kitchen. We have been going to see Rose and the other amazing staff for close to 20 years. All the locals either grab a quick bite or do take out....which appears to be a lot of their business. Best salmon skin hand rolls around. Bottom line.....FOOD and staff are very good.

I’ve been coming to sushi Republic ever since I was a kid. The food is always amazing. I love the sashimi. Fish is always fresh and delicious. Love the ginger salad dressing. Dragon roll was yummy too. I’d give 3 thumbs up if I could.

came for the first time everything seemed fine and the waiter was nice, I didn’t like the fact that the salmon was all raw, then it was even better when I saw that all the guys make sushi without gloves and then they pass it to the cleaner who deals with dirty dishes, and he takes this sushi dirty with his bare hands and smooths it beautifully on the plates and passes it to the waiter, then he takes it without gloves and kneads the batter for hot sushi with his hands, it was just a nightmare, to which we refused the order and told why, but the manager did not even apologize and was not surprised, I do not advise it a place to walk for a week with abdominal pain
