The restaurant at the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside is very good. Service is excellent. Sadly. The rest of the hotel is lacking big time. We won't be coming back.

Amazing experience!! The view from the sky bar is incredible, you can see the whole city and the sunset wow. Drinks are phenomenal and the bartender Hector is excellent 10/10 experience!

This restaurant is amazing. It has beach wave views and great food. The tuna tartare was delicious. We also had the roasted lamb shank it was super delicious. Our server Julio was fantastic and the manager was very helpful when we asked more information about the hotel options.
Make sure to check out the sky bar.

Dine there for dinner, ordered Pizza Margherita. Its crust and cheese was alright, the sauce just needed a spicy kick. Johan was very helpful. I gave him a $10.00 tip. I then ate the cheeseburger ( its a burger with two beef patties) with fries. Visit dedicated to my then German American ex girlfriend. She strongly resemble Queen Lagertha from a tv show. Cue in the songs : Don't You (Forget About Me) song by Simple Minds and Alice song by Avril Lavigne. 🇺🇸 🇩🇪 🎸 ✌️

Do not go here, one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered, the staff and management are awfully rude

More bad than good, wouldn’t recommend - other than to kill a couple hours in the beautiful ambiance if seated outside away from the terrace. The food looks and smells good but is not fresh. Dry, stale, stiff pancakes. Sad fake bacon. Small cold croissant benedict. Slow and disorganized service despite there being many staff for the small number of tables and guests. Used to love this spot years ago under the old name and ownership, so hopefully they’ll do another change in the near future to elevate the Grand Beach Hotel amenities and experience. Until then, we won’t be back.

No one there and took them 2 hours to serve us our food, we have children and it was beyond unacceptable. They have one person working the whole hotel.

I really loved the ambiance there. I was extremely disappointed that they would not serve us from the breakfast meal as we came there for that. On a Sunday, the breakfast should be to at least noon! Also, at times we were waiting for the someone to wait on us. And to refill our water. Too much waiting. The food did taste good!

The restaurant was perfect for a quiet dinner. As far as food I had a Cesar salad and the lettuce were refrigerator cold and didn't seem fresh. I was not impressed. I was however impressed with the setting, its civilized sofo! We did ask to be seated in the open air area and were told it was closed only to latter watch another couple sit there. Regardless, the outdoor covered area, we had requested originally, was nice anyway. We were served by a very friendly and attentive waiter. End of night we asked for valet validation and were told they stopped it for spring break, we had to show that it stated so in open table app and after some back and forth calling a manager it was validated. We would go back.

Great service and food! We've eaten here 3 times for dinner and breakfast each day of our vacation. Excellent!

The restaurant in this rather expensive hotel is terrible in every way you can think of: - we had to wait for about 40 min after we placed the order for our lunch to arrive to our table; - my hot soup and the entree were brought together, so my entree was cold by the time I was done with the soup; the waiter said she always brings dishes together as the kitchen may mess up the order otherwise; - the tables around us were not cleaned, so we had to consume our rather expensive meal while surrounded by dirty tables; - the waitresses are absolutely untrained, it feels like they worked in fast food chains prior to working in this expensive restaurant; they obviously got no training; We were looking forward to a relaxing enjoyable lunch, instead we got tired and upset. Waist of time and money.

I am flabbergasted! How does a 2 hour lunch charge $65 for parking?!?! Not even overnight parking at a fancy south beach hotel charges this. They robbed us. The food was great and service was good even on a busy Mothers Day, but we feel so cheated by the unexpected parking that I will never be back. Even after spending over $400 on lunch, parking this expensive was charged. Wow guys, do better! We should have asked, but never in my wildest dreams would I have thought they’d charge this. Thieves ?
