Food always on point. Service at the bar very poor. Marinco the bartender even called the manager because we complained at the bar that he was allowing other people to sit before us. Manager very confrontational. Wife and I have stayed at many other Four Seasons hotels and never a manager has been called. So much for golden rule. I guess Miami standards are poor. Hopefully the brand does not get damaged.

I recently dined at the restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club in Surfside, and it was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had at a high-end venue.
The food was simply awful and grossly overpriced. My wife suffered severe food poisoning after eating the Rockefeller oysters the day before our flight home, leaving us miserable and ruining the end of our trip. I sent a detailed email to the manager describing the incident and our overall poor experience, but received absolutely no response, which is utterly disgraceful and shows how little this place actually cares about its guests.
The setting is undeniably beautiful, but that doesn’t make up for subpar food and health risks. Stick to drinks at the bar if you’re staying here, do not eat at the restaurant.
One final question: What is that round, sugary brioche they’re serving with dinner? Why not just provide proper bread? This place is nowhere near worth the hype.
I strongly advise against dining here unless you’re only going for the ambiance and cocktails.

10/10 worth the hype. Every bite was out of this world and atmosphere in the champagne bar was perfection. I can’t wait to return! French opinion dip is not to be missed.

Dinner at The Surf Club Restaurant was nothing short of phenomenal. This was my third Thomas Keller restaurant, and I am officially committed to collecting the full set. While this one does not follow the tasting menu format like Per Se or The French Laundry, the à la carte approach was a dream because we went with a group large enough to order widely and taste so many dishes.
The lobster Thermidor will live in my head rent free for the rest of my life. The sauce alone deserves its own write up. This is fine dining at the highest level, set inside the stunning Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club, and I have never had to use so much willpower in my life to not lick a plate clean. The depth of flavor in the sauces is something Keller does like no one else. It goes beyond normal food logic and straight into obsession territory.
What has been consistent across every Keller restaurant I have visited is the sense of surprise, delight, and flawless service. Here, that signature excellence is paired with beach vibes and a seafood-forward menu, which may honestly make this my favorite experience yet. It somehow manages to feel both elevated and relaxed, indulgent but casual fun.
Every detail was dialed in. The pacing, the service, the presentation, and of course the food itself were all absolute perfection. If you are a serious foodie, this is worth every single dime. A truly unforgettable dining experience and one I will be thinking about for a very long time.

This place is a 10 out of 10
Phenomenal food, service, and experience.
Taste is amazing
Only thing I would change is updated music and a little less volume on the music.
Also, lemon doesn’t go well with cheesecake. But that could be a personal preference.
Thank you surf club!

Outstanding. Great vibe. Incredible staff. Delicious food. They were very very accommodating of food allergies. The whole aura was incredible. I went two nights in a row! Highly highly recommend. The truffle pasta was a bit of a sticker shock ($215 for 1 entre) but the homemade almond flower pasta and freshly shaved truffle was worth it.

I’ve been coming to The Surf Club for years, and it never disappoints. The food is always exceptional and the service consistently amazing. I also want to give a special thank you to Alena at reservations , she is always so kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. Her professionalism truly elevates the entire experience.

I’ve visited a few times and after my last visit, I’m not sure I’ll be back. The place just isn’t what it used to be. The food was OK, and portion sizes have shrank from what they used to be. We had a 9pm reservation, but were not seated until 20+ minutes later. The hostess that evening didn’t seem the least bit concerned, and the restaurant did nothing to make up for their poor time management. I’ve dined at multiple Thomas Keller restaurants before and this experience was not in alignment with my previous ones.
