I went to The Surf Club Restaurant on October 15th, 2025, to celebrate 18 years of friendship with a dear friend of mine. We chose this restaurant because of its incredible reputation, the Four Seasons standard, and because it meant something special to us.
Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. My friend, who is 87 years old, accidentally drove to the Four Seasons in Downtown Brickell and was already on his way back. I was in constant contact with him, assuring he was coming and even showed messages proving it.
Within minutes, the manager came to my table three times, questioning if my guest was “really coming.” Eventually, he took my drink from the table and asked me to leave, even though the restaurant was still empty. It was humiliating — everyone around was watching.
The valet service was excellent, the food and drinks were divine, and the servers were polite — they were just following orders. But the manager’s behavior was unacceptable. As a woman, Latina, and now a proud U.S. citizen who owns a business in Brickell, I have never felt so disrespected.
I sincerely hope the management reviews the cameras and takes action, because no guest — especially a woman dining alone — should ever be treated this way.

Unique place in a unique location
Now a restaurant in Miami Beach that is a real treat and goes beyond the mediocre fare served at most of the tourist traps here. Truly was a memorable night.
Worth every penny, once in a life time experience with quality of food that you wont eat everyday.
The beef rib wellington is the best we ever had and please try the alfredo fettuccine.
This restaurant, by renowned Chef Thomas Keller, which is located inside the Four Seasons Hotel in Surfside, is the most superb refined and upscale casual dining experience that you can enjoy. It offers the most amazing menu with old world staples like Lobster Thermidor, Beef Wellington, and Poached egg with caviar! But don't miss the NY Strip for two or any of their pastas. The atmosphere is wonderful with a great bar that offers counter seating and bar dining. There are also small bistro tables where you can dine while enjoying the live music. In the main dining room, the music is a great mix of playlists and is just the right volume to allow for conversation. The staff is wonderful, and our server, Guillaume, is fantastic! He's always very attentive, engaging, and great at suggesting the best dishes from the daily specials as well as the main menu. Reservations are a must!
Worth it! Everything was incredible and happy to have spent our 10 Year Anniversary dinner here. Highly recommend reservations. Thank you!!
Wow!
Such a beautiful experience. We did not have dinner, only drinks with our wonderful friends.
Thank you for a truly amazing evening.
I have been at Surf Club Restaurant and i have no words to describe this place.
When i walked in i felt something that i can not explain, i thought i was not in Miami for a sec! The restaurant is charming, absolutely gorgeous and classy;
We were welcomed by Giuseppe C. , the Maitre D, originally from Italy, who kindly shared a little bit of the history of the restaurant and the place that we were about to discover.
Service was 10/10, very professional and friendly staff, always on top of everything.
Food was amazing, everything we tried was really tasty and well presented, but our favorite was the Beef Wellington😍;
Super tender meat, very tasty sauce and crispy breaded crust, a must to have!
We will be back very soon.
Thank you to whole staff and Chef T.Keller who decided to open one of his restaurant in Miami.

Management attitude: 0. Dining experience: 2.
To sum it up: mediocre at best. Our experience started with a rude and dismissive attitude from the manager/host when we declined to be seated in a different room instead of the main dining area. When we made our reservation over the phone, we specifically confirmed that our seating would be in the main dining area. However, the manager told me that if I had been “nice enough” and asked “properly,” he would have tried his best. What?!
Anyway, after waiting 15 minutes, we were finally seated in the main area. Everything else was an unremarkable experience. Honestly, for $1,000 for two—including an outrageous 20% tip—I expected an out-of-this-world experience. Instead, we got mediocre dishes, none of which stood out. The half lobster tail and 10oz filet mignon were absolutely plain and not worth the hype. I thought it was just us, but the table next to us said the same—and even left most of their dishes untouched!
Once again, Surf Club decided to join the Valentine’s Day marketing trend. We thought it would be an experience to remember, but instead, they can mark us off their customer list due to poor management and a disappointing dining experience.

We went for dinner for our anniversary last night and couldn’t be happier with our decision to celebrate at surf club. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious, the restaurant is gorgeous and every single one of the staff was extremely pleasant to talk to. We will be back for sure.

I’ve had the pleasure of dining at The Surf Club Restaurant many times now, and each visit leaves me in awe of the level of excellence this team consistently delivers. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance sets the tone for an unforgettable evening. The elegant yet inviting atmosphere creates the perfect backdrop for the impeccable dining experience that follows.
The cuisine is nothing short of exceptional. Each dish is a masterpiece, carefully crafted with the freshest ingredients and executed with precision. The flavors are bold, yet balanced, and the attention to detail in every course is apparent. Every bite is a reflection of Thomas Keller’s culinary genius, and it's clear that the team shares his commitment to perfection.
The service is another highlight. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring every guest feels like they are receiving the best possible experience. It’s rare to find such a seamless blend of top-tier food, superb service, and an unforgettable atmosphere, but the team at The Surf Club Restaurant nails it every single time.
A huge thank you to the entire team for consistently going above and beyond. Your hard work and dedication truly shines, and it's always a pleasure to dine here.

The place is very busy and its atmosphere is pleasant, the reception staff and waiter are friendly, the rest of the staff I don't know if it is a lack of training or if everything is accelerated by the operating protocol (the bill arrives when it is not requested, the person crosses the middle of the conversation to pick up an unfinished dish, no more bread is offered for the next dish) these details make it feel that it is more important that the next diner comes in instead of the current diner enjoying and appreciating his dish, I understand that everything It is a business and more so in an area like Florida, but one of the virtues of the best restaurants is the dinner experience, which does nothing of the above.
