“As one who has traveled to Turkey 27 times at last count, I am enthralled and familiar with authentic and good Turkish food. Unfortunately, most so-called Turkish restaurants in South Florida are poor substitutes for the real thing. As a result, I was more than pleasantly surprised with the food offerings at Marash Cafe. While the decor is not fancy (consistent with many kabop restaurants in Turkey), the food is authentic and first rate. The Marash kabob is a combination of ground lamb and other spices providing the traditional Turkish taste. The doner kabob contains tasty and moist sliced lamb meet similar to a Greek gyro, but far superior in taste and texture. The dinner platters are served with excellent steamed rich, a grilled portion of tomato, pickled onions and pickled cabbage along with authentic pita bread. The meses (small dish) appetizer of four different delicacies provided a taste of each to clearly whet the appetite. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, and we were made to feel very welcome. In addition, we felt the price was very reasonable.“

“I like this place a lot. The food is served impeccably. Large menu of authentic Turkish food. Reasonable prices and the most important very nice owners (Tuba’s brother). The tea they serve is black tea from Sri Lanka (it has some bergamot hint ). Its a true killer. I highly recommend them.“

“My group had a wonderful time at ZOI Restaurant today lunch time. There were 10 of us celebrating 2 Birthday’s. From the large free parking lot to the entrance, gorgeous orchids growing on the lush trees greet you. The outdoor garden patio seating area where we dined is magical, and the seats are so plush and comfortable. It’s an unexpected botanical garden of palms, cycads, orchids, and bromeliads surrounding large lagoons. The Mediterranean /Greek food is wonderfully delicious, especially the variety of Mezzes that I had. The grilled Octopus and Lamb Chops were sensational. ZOI has developed the perfect mix of food, intimacy, and culinary expertise. Management spoiled us with pampering and great service. This place was so much fun, we didn’t want to leave.“

“Everything was wonderful. We have been to this restaurant many times, and the Turkish food is always authentic and delicious. The servers are very kind and welcoming. The Turkish gentleman and the Mexican girl who were serving us were both amazing. I’m Romancito’s mommy, and the Mexican girl who speaks Spanish was always so sweet and kind to my baby.

“I visited this place while walking around Miami Beach and really loved it! Excellent Turkish and halal food — especially the gyros and kebabs. The meat was juicy, fresh, and full of flavor. Portions are generous, and it’s great value for the price.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming — they even offered Turkish tea or baklava as a dessert, which was a really nice touch. The atmosphere is cozy, with both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for a warm day.

“Very fun restaurant with beautiful Turkish Tiffany lamps as decor. On weekends they have a very lovely singer who sings in 7-10 different languages to your requests! Service is wonderful. All the waitresses are pretty and sweet Abandon parking and easy cozy atmosphere! You can’t go wrong!“
