I went there today, February 7 at 2 PM. The girl walk in here was extremely rude. She looked at my sister, didn’t say anything and walked in the back. My sister stood there for about three minutes waiting. She waited until my sister left and came out the back. This was the same girl. Who was there this weekend When we went, she was rude again this weekend. We went in to order fries they did not have fries so we were gonna get tacos. They did not have chicken they did not have steak. They were out of so many things we couldn’t order anything so we got ready to use the restroom. She told us “Restrooms are for paying customers”with the attitude as if it’s our fault that they did not have the food that we came to order. The guys there are super nice I don’t know what’s up with this girl. I also wish they could stay stocked up with their food. This isn’t the first time I’ve gone and they were out of a lot of food.

Whoever has given this place 4-5 stars is lying or has horrible taste buds. I don’t know how this is a chain food spot. A friend and I ordered the queso. They gave the regular size in two tiny containers with thick over fried looking chips. The chicken in the quesadillas is gross. The bacon in the bacon ranch one is disgusting and has a terrible smell. They use such a large tortilla and it’s only half filled. Big inside to sit and no one was in there. That alone tells a lot. Overpriced garbage.

I ordered online for pickup; was right down the street so didn't expect my food to be ready when I got there. The place was empty; for a Friday night I thought that was weird. Guy at the counter was nice enough, but from there it went downhill.They were out of the queso I ordered, so replaced it with salsa. Not a huge deal, but it seems like everytime I come here they are always out of something.Now on to the food......I don't know if it was just the guy cooking or if that "new restaurant" top notch service has ended, but the food was nasty.The rice was old..they were basically pellets and therefore inedible. Had to throw it away. I ordered 2 carnitas tacos; only got 1 (they ran out of that too). It would have been nice if I was asked what other taco I would want instead of them randomly replacing it with one I didn't order....I was standing right there.Also ordered the chicken bacon quesadilla. There's no point in using those big tortillas if you're only going to fill it up halfway. Literally half of it was just burnt tortilla, and the rest was a combo of cheese and dry chicken. The sauce was the only saving grace.When they first opened I loved it. The quality was good. It's a shame it's gone down so fast in such a short amount of time.

Heard about this place. Went with my teen who is a taconista. So i had the carnita taco bundle. Best I've had. Bar none. Soft taco. Meat seasoned to perfection. I was in luv. Even the tortilla chips were perfect. This will be my new taco spot. No need to drive far anymore. Staff was nice and explained the menu.

Don't fall in love with this restaurant. We tried to go one evening but the parking situation sucked. Between the thoughtless drivers and the severe lack of spaces, and the mobility challenges we're facing at the moment we were done before we even got started.This review is not for the restaurant, but for the business location. In the last 20 years this space, (and the other nearby spaces) has held multiple businesses, all of which have closed their doors. Until this parking lot is fixed, I suspect businesses will continue to fail here. Sadly, I don't know if there's even a solution to the extremely poor design.Best of luck Capital tacos but I'm not down for the frustration entailed in attempting to eat here. We did end up coming back and eating here. The food was good enough. Americanized tacos, to the point that calling it Tex-mex implies a more exotic flavor profile than exists.

Im not sure how i forgot to write this review or call to complain yesterday. I was highly disappointed with my food. Yesterday, I ordered the Birria taco, lite cheese with extra lime, and a coke. The food and the coke was disgusting!!!! This was my fourth time ordering this item and it didn’t taste anything like the last three time. The sauce didn’t even looked the same! When I enter the store it was empty, I was skeptical to order because the store usually have more than two customers. There were two employees working, a guy and a girl. The girl was cooking and handling the registered. I thought that was odd because usually there would be at least four people behind the counter. Back to the disgusting food! The meat didn’t taste fresh or marinated, like straight trash! It had no seasoning or flavor. The sauce looked and tasted like oil and water, no flavor. It didn’t taste like it was marinated with the meat. The price I paid for the bierria taco was 15.88, I believe last time I had it was 13.88. The price went up and the quality went down. I was eager to return the food after the three bites but I was tooo tired and didn’t want to cause any ruckus for the two employees. I strongly believe this is caused by the owners and management. Please do better! This store opened up this year, the quality of the food shouldn’t change within two months. I want a refund!!!!! The best part out of my meal was the limes. Usually the limes would enhance the flavors but it did nothing for the meat. Horrible and old meat!!! There is a reason why no one is visiting this store and it remains empty. I usually don’t order out, when I do that is because I’m in the mood for a specific item. Spending $18 on the bierria taco and a coke is EXPENSIVE when the food is trash. Please refund me my money NoW! I’m pretty sure management is aware how bad the food taste and the trash they are serving the customers. They just don’t care. Why open a restaurant and not care about the quality of the food you are serving. Geez one of the cooks had a cast on his hand. *Door dash review * so I was craving tacos and came across this place on door dash. I decided to order their shrimply the best tacos and I attached the pic of it. Idk if it’s because it was delivered why it was presented that way but umm , you guys can see. I could have made this at home. The taste was ok, nothing to brag over like some other people have, I’m not satisfied for what I paid. I’m not a fan of the fries or ketchup. Just wanted to show you guys how your taco would be if it was delivered. Not really pleased. Maybe it would be better in person though.

It has been a long day and on Friday's the family and I like to try out new restaurants or places we haven't eaten at. We liked how the food looked on the website and were excited to have a great dinner but a few things went wrong.I took a 20 min drive to this place to pick up our $80 order. We like to try a variety when going to new places. The place was dead inside no business super empty so was surprised to be ignored by three of the employees when I came to pick up food. They seemed to see me but we're busy drinking and laughing. Once I waved them down I was handed a single bag. To which I asked "is this all?" She looks at her co-workers after a few more minutes I'm handed a second bag. I leave.I arrive home, unpack food. Missing a whole meal! ? Called and they said I could pick it up. What upsets me is that the employees were not hospitable at all, super cold, asked twice if that was everything for this order and still needed to come back.Would not recommend to visit or eat at. This place needs to look at it's customer service before it waste more people's time and money.

I was skeptical at first but my son's school gave me a gift card for the restaurant so i figured why not. I brought my son and nephew and Capital Tacos did not disappoint. The food was exactly what i was craving, my picky eaters even loved the food. the Art station for the kids was perfect entertainment once they were don't and antsy. If your craving tacos, hell even if you just want some good, affordable food try it out! you wont be disappointed.
We were a party of 6.Casual dining. Friendly and helpful staff.They took the time to explain the menu and options.I enjoyed the ace high taco and the chicken fajita as well as plain fries and the fried cheesecake.The others ordered spicy fries which had the right amount of spice.The Chapel's cheese steak and the ground beat bowl.My sister had the shrimply the best taco..she felt it was a bit overdone.We loved the food, the priced were reasonable.Will definitely go back.
