My family and I went to this Golden Corral on Father's day and the line was out the door and it was raining. To make matters worse, when we got inside the restaurant, we saw that one side was completely empty and closed down. Everyone had to be cramped into one side of the restaurant. We didn't have a server appointed to us so each time that we needed something, I had to get up and locate someone to help us with drink refills and condiments, etc. Without anyone to really serve us, I was really tempted to go into the back and just help my self because the service was so bad. On top of that, the assistant manager Maria, was very unaccommodating and rude. By the time that we finally got into the restaurant, it was about an hour before closing. The cooks had already stopped bringing out fresh food and many of the food items were out. I personally complained to management about why were they still charging people to come in and at the same time not bringing out any food. As a result of this, I was offered a 50% refund. What made matters worse was that the cooks, especially in the dessert section were preparing take home bags without even putting anything out for the paying customers. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. This was very unprofessional and I was surprised that this was allowed to take place. The corporate office needs to know how this restaurant is being run because it is definitely a poor reflection on Golden Corral.
Ok so I have been going to golden corral for years I really thought they were gonna all close due to the pandemic and was happy to hear this was not the case ...THIS location is same as all the rest we went in for the breakfast.. all was as expected except for one of waitresses was super unfriendly and a little rude.. my brother had asked where to get the coffee and she abruptly grabbed the receipt and said you didnt pay for coffee .. the recipt had 2 drinks on it and it said one powerade and one Sprite but we ordered coffee and more to the point what's the difference ... there are 2 drinks on the receipt and this lady wasn't about to helpnus... just then another employee a Spanish gentleman came over offered help and promptly returned with 2 black coffees.. ty very much Alfredo I think was his name.. so I took off 2 stars for the rude waitress and the cashier that rung up whatever on the check that caused the coffee dilema.to start with .. everything else was as expected.... we will.always come back .. maybe not to this location...
I took my husband and our two sons out for Father's Day dinner. We had to drive about a thirty minute drive to get to this restaurant. The last time we were there, it was a nice experience. But this time, I paid for our four meals, then when we got ready to sit down on the left side of room, where we always sit, the bust guy mumbled, and my husband asked him to repeat, and he said very loudly and rudely, "THIS SIDE IS CLOSED!!" My husband didn't make waves and we left to go and sit on right side. But, everyone was bunched up together, I mean 'CRUNCHED.' I had a double lung transplant, and therefore, I have low immunity condition, due to daily anti rejection meds, and I can't risk sitting super close, CRAMPED close, on the side they wanted us to sit (right side of room), it was shoulder to shoulder, hardly any room to walk, we were right next to other people sitting at tables. The whole right side was packed and Cramped. I went to speak with the manager, her name is Maria...she rudely told me, "well, we allow two people, but not four, because we only have two servers". Even if I have a low immunity condition, she still was adamant about us not be allowed to sit on the left side of room, the whole left side of room was closed, we had about one hour before closing, I mentioned about another couple sitting, but they were two. She was so rude and never said 'sorry' to myself and my son...she was full of an attitude, and against me, she just wanted to argue with me, so I turned and left (I was very nice to her). I just walked away. I will be reporting this to Corporation. Later on, there not only was a couple sitting in that area, but another party of three! Also, my husband went up to get a steak at around 8:15 pm, and the person who cooks the steaks told him rudely, "NO MORE STEAKS", and no matter what my husband said, he still was adamant about not cooking him any steaks. So we paid for having all the steaks you can eat, but the cook said no more steaks. We had to settle with dried out meats. They closed at 9 PM, and it was only 8:15 PM. But when the steak cooker got a line of people, he then began cooking more steaks, he thought he could get away with it, since my husband was only one person in line, but when others came and stood in line, he changed, possibly afraid of getting in trouble. Later, around 8:45 PM, store was still open until 9 PM, we noticed a lady going up, and he told her 'NO MORE STEAKS" and she went to the manager, who allowed the steak cook to clean up and shut down and it was 8:45 PM, but the manager brought tons of foods such as, chicken, shrimp, meatloaf, etc...even allowed them to have bags to pack up and take home, in which they did. The manager seemed to favor specific people. She shouldn't be in this store, she is unfair, and wants to shut everything down, way before closing time, there should be a discount for those who were told no more steaks.
Tomorrow is their last day open… :(
They have the best seniors special Mon thru Fri 2 pm to 4 pm all you can eat for $10 beverage included. Ths food was good.

Great friendly service …. Safe a clean …
the cashier was rude and the manager Marie it was so bad I didn't want to even eat anymore I asked for a refund she said im busy right now I can't do it. she said do you want the 9.00 back or not because I don't have time for this. I will be calling corporate. I will forever go to hialeah's Buffett where the variety is diverse
I was really surprised to see that this is the only Golden Corral open in our area, with only one other location that was shown as temporarily closed.I was a bit disappointed that there were no Mexican breakfast choices at all, but there was a good selection of other items. One glove was given to each person (5/29/21) but that is really the only concession to the waning Covid-19 pandemic.I'm not the all-you-can-eat kind of customer but I like to mix and match, as you can see from my plate of fish, corned beef hash and grits. This location is pretty centrally located in Broward County, so we can reach it comfortably.
Place in general, was clean based on the time of the day I visited. Food presentation was good considering the place was full. The employee was taking care of our table was amazing. Carla gave us an outstanding service. Also Ana helped us really good.

Abundant and well prepared food. Service was good. Nam has 5 stars.
We were laughing very hard. When the cashier said senior get free coffee. That was going to be my question. The selection is vast. The place is clean and all employees are friendly. Employees remember names of clients. That Telling me , the employees paid attention to others needs. Very satisfied.
This is not social distancing because they only have one server
