Out of all the Pollo Tropical locations in the area, THIS location is my favorite. Personally, everyone I’ve ever dealt with at this location has always been polite. I do drive thru mainly, so anyone at the window is always smiling when I interact with them. My order is always correct, the food is always hot, and they always ask if I need any additional items for my meal. Lastly, I go during a time of day when it’s busy, which is usually around the time people are picking up their kids from after school activites and/or people getting off work AND late at night when they’re about to close. My sentiments remain the same in regard to those times. By far, my favorite location on this side of town.
If you come to pollo and are hungry you better be ready to pay another 4 to 6 bucks to buy extra beans or rice because the portions at these pollo stores are now ridiculously tiny! I asked for a small size tropi chop and got half a bowl of food! And if you buy a large they give you a small tropi inside of a large tropi bowl! It’s disgraceful what these restaurants are doing! Shrinkflation is real at this chain of food!!!

I was really excited when I saw they were going to put a Pollo Tropical near my house, so first time I ate there got major diarrhea, I thought that maybe it had been something else but no. I went a second time and the same thing, sick as a dog. I wasn’t going to get sick a third time or any other time so I haven’t bought chicken at this place anymore. I don’t know if it is that they don’t clean the grills, surfaces and utensils or they leave raw chicken sitting outside all day.

Good food, disappointed the service wasn't as good as the food
I ordered a veggie tropichop and they gave me a meal with no rice didn't notice until I got home. I'm in disbelief how they could make sense in their brains on why someone would order a tropichop without rice? The common sense in the youth and workers at this location is absent. Never again

Customer Service was AWESOME! Thanks! I apologize that I didn't get the young man's name, but he's greatly appreciated. I recently visited (2) other locations- ML King Blvd and W Commercial Blvd (which is closer to my residence) and another store on McNab Rd. I will NOT be returning to these locations. I AM WILLING to travel the distance to get the service I received from this location at 8851 W COMMERCIAL BLVD, TAMARAC, FL 33351 (so that you all go to the correct store ). The set up is open and appears to be very clean, as well.

@pollotropical I'm sorry to say, your Tamarac Florida location (Commercial Blvd,) needs a complete personnel overhaul .. Never seen so many disgusted customers, wrong orders and low morale of employees in one restaurant. Unfortunate & disappointing experience. on a regular basis!
