Fish was great service awesome I'll definitely visit again
First time here, definitely not my last. I got the curry goat and jerk chicken special. Just be mindful cabbage is $2.00 extra.
Pretty decent portion for $4.99.
Stop by to get a Curried Goat lunch. Was very disappointed as for the portion size of goat meat which was just a spoon full of which more than half was literally bone. Goat meat is not that expensive so I don’t see the holding back on a fair portion size. I will not purchase there anymore as other restaurants give a more adequate portion size.
I hate to say it but it’s gone so far down hill. The jerk was never traditional but I bought it by the pound and not only was it expensive but just not good. Skin was very soggy. I had to put it in the air fryer. No smoke - that distinct pimento wood taste is missing and I get most restaurants just grill but I believe at snappers it’s just baked. $16 was ridiculous. The fried chicken in the case looked old and cold. What a travesty. Used to eat there so often. No festival… Mid afternoon and no fried dumplin at all…. #GentrifiedJerk
My family and I love trying new flavors from different places, so we decided to try this little place called: which is located on W. Commercial Blvd. and 441st Street in a large shopping plaza. The place is small, simple, but with an incredible flavor, WOW! We ordered a Brown Stew Chicken which had an incredible flavor, and you can't help but admire the prices😳 They don't even exist in a Chinese restaurant, no wonder there are lines of people buying their food at this place; that's why my husband and I have come to the conclusion: it's useless if the place has spectacular or extraordinary decor, if what will convince you is the flavor of their dishes. We will definitely return! Ahhh, not to mention that the service is very pleasant, the prices incredible, and the food sufficient and delicious. Why aren't these places as well-known? For their humble decor? Don't be fooled by the decor of the establishment or the dishes, focus on the flavor, which is what really counts.
The jerk chicken was so tender and the rice and beans tasted amazing. The woman was so nice and helpful too

For $22 dollars I got a plate full of akee. It looked like she purposely avoided all the big pieces of fish to give me bottom scraping, and this was at 8:30 am . I'm not going back. Fish taste old, maybe that was why she didn't give me much, dumplings undercooked. Best thing on the plate was the bananas.
