The NY Pizza Place offers excellent NY-style pizza in a clean, cozy, and art-filled space with a lot of eating areas. The atmosphere is laid-back and comfortable. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, kind, and patient, providing great and quick service even when busy. The pizza is fantastic, fresh, cheesy, perfectly cooked, and delicious with a perfectly crispy crust that has the right amount of crunch and chew. Toppings are fresh and the sauce has no cheap sweetness. Specific pizzas praised include the excellent cheese pizza, the Lasagna pizza with great flavor balance, the amazing pepperoni pizza, and The Brooklyn slice. Pies are super big. The garlic knots, or garlic rolls, are soft, flavorful, and delicious, especially with a side of marinara sauce that is crazy good. The restaurant offers a 2 slice and drink special. Turnaround is fast, everything comes out hot, prices are fair, and it is a must-try local favorite.
