We felt very unwelcome and thought the cashier was almost disappointed to serve us.

On vacation and wanted a latte, stopped by here and LOVED it. I ordered a vanilla cinnamon honey iced latte 100/10. Espresso was smooth and bold. My boyfriend ordered the cold brew he swore he could drink it just black it was that good. Service was amazing. The pretty young lady at the counter recommend the latte flavor and she was attentive and sweet. Will go back again before I head 1,200 miles north!

Shop and buy local! Cute little quaint cafe location with very good ham and cheese croissant. Much better than Starbucks 😁😁☕☕

Staff, one in particular, shouldn’t be taking orders or making coffee. Early morning, very few customers, we stood in front of her while she texted for over a minute. Then, when done said she could do it later?
Pastry is great, coffee is fine, atmosphere is great for the location. Staff needs to focus on customer service.

Wonderful recommendation for a Honey Cinnamon latte with oatmilk. The avocado toast and almond croissant were simply delicious

Perfect Stop on the way to Key West (or back) to have a great cup of coffee.
They have tasty options for breakfast and even a cute terrasse.

I love Café Moka in Tavernier and stop here every time I pass by — the coffee is always great. However, the service keeps getting slower, and this past Saturday (10/25 around 12:20 p.m.) was the worst yet.

I waited about five minutes to be served, which isn’t terrible, but what made it uncomfortable was the situation. There were three young girls behind the counter and one girl — a customer — chatting lively about life, Facebook profiles, and nail salons. The customer actually turned to me and apologized for keeping me waiting, saying she hadn’t seen them in a long time!

Meanwhile, none of the employees acknowledged me, made eye contact, or apologized for the delay. All I needed were two coffees to go. Sorry girls — no tip today. Maybe next time!

Stopped by Cafe Moka in Tavernier this morning for a Java pick me up… cute location in a small house located on US 1. Staff were friendly, and service was great. We had a couple of large lattes, which were good, but could have been more hot when served. We also ordered one of the almond croissants, which was delicious, but a bit overcooked in our opinion. All in all, good coffee, and good breakfast eats…. they also have a nice selection of lunch items as well. Recommend Cafe Moka!

We love this place!! We come to Islamorada every year for our anniversary, and we usually go to that location, but this trip, we switched to the Tavernier location since the Islamorada location ran out of quiche at 9:00 AM, and the staff was not very pleasant. The Cafe Moka here in Tavernier is amazing! The staff is friendly and helpful, service is quick, & the atmosphere is so fun. We always get a caramel macchiato, quiche Lorraine, and an almond croissant. They always taste amazing, and we are never disappointed. Coming to Cafe Moka every morning is one of our favorite parts of our trip!
