Everything was super delicious but the tuna sandwich was a standout. Quality ingredients, great flavors, and not pricy considering the portion sizes. Would definitely eat here often if I lived nearby.

😋Had a great experience at Calypso Sur in Tavernier. It's a small place with a laid back, super casual vibe and the food is extra special .... so good! We had the She Crab soup (delicious), the Hogfish Tacos and Hogfish sandwich (both great, super fresh and perfectly seasoned) and a Jalapeno Steak sandwich (loaded with yumminess). The owner/chef (who has received many cooking award trophies that were displayed) took care of us this Tuesday night on his own ... and we felt special in his "house"! We left with "Wow, that was awesome!" Don't be offset by the small setting. While we were there an officer came in to order. You know if the local first responders are there, it's got to be good! Thanks!

Absolutely amazing she crab soup and perfectly seared tuna tacos. What a find! It’s cash only but there is a bank right next door. This place is a must try!
It is an old run-down hole in the wall. It's got a single half deaf old hippie running the whole thing front of the house and back of the house.
There's no air conditioning just fans, and they don't take credit cards cash only.
With that being said if you skip this place you're a fool.
I had the soup and the Cobra cheesesteak. The soup came out in a paper bowl with a plastic spoon and every single bite was an explosion of absolute delectable flavor. I could eat an entire pot of that soup by itself easily.
The Cheesesteak was beautifully cooked and absolutely packed full of fresh ingredients in some sort of delicious sauce.
If you're looking for ritzy fine dining this is not the place. If you're looking for excellently prepared food at a reasonable cost and you're okay with running to the ATM first you will be absolutely thrilled by every bite you take here.

Todd is a culinary genius! We stopped here for lunch. Shared she crab soup and Wahoo sandwich. So amazingly fresh and delicious. Todd couldn’t have been friendlier. Cash only so bring your greenbacks but do not skip way to or from key west!

Love the she crab soup and my fish sandwich (Filet Oh Wish), made from fresh catch. My dog Marshall got to enjoy the food as well since it was a generous filet. One of my new favorite places now!
