We were staying near Chad’s & decided to give it a go for take out. Our expectations were far exceeded. The sandwiches are huge! We had the Fresh Fried Mozz ( a must!), the Garlic knots, The Reuben, The Club, pasta salad & the Hamburger with fries. Easily the most reasonable meal we’ve had. Staff were super friendly. Everything was very fresh. The deli meats were perfectly sliced! Would definitely go back!

This place use to be good. I don't know what happened? I ordered a sandwich plain, just meat and cheese due to severe allergies. I told the girl about 5 times, to make sure it was plain. She assured me it would be. Well I received a sandwich covered in Mayo, with lettuce and tomatoes that I couldn't eat. I should of looked at it right away, but I didn't until we were miles down the road. I really don't understand the lack of respect. Especially with an allergy concern. Will not go back.

Literally couldn’t ask for better food. After eating so heavily all week, this was a wonderful change of pace. Best club sandwich and pasta salad! HIGHLY recommend the pizza, garlic knots and fried mozzarella. You will NOT be sorry you came! 10/10 on service and food

Stopped here with a few good friends. The owners are amazing people!! it's a very friendly, homey environment. We were all very happy with the food and the service. HIGHLY recommend!!

I used to love going to this place when I visited the keys. To say it's a shell of it's former self is an understatement. I ordered the same meal I always get and it somehow tasted nothing like I remember. The sauce was flavorless, lacking salt among other things, and there was about 1/4 cup water still in my pasta. My families food was equally bad, also lacking taste or sorely overcooked. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll visit again; RIP Chad's.

In spite of the fact our meatball sub was forgotten on our order and had to wait, the pizza and meatball sub we ordered was delicious! The pizza crust was good, the sauce was fresh and not bitter. My husband loved the sub. He said the meatballs had a little zip in them but were tasty. I would highly recommend if you’re staying in Tavernier to drop by and pick yourself up a good meal.

This place has the best sandwiches and pasta salad in the area. I have had several sandwiches and my favorite so far is the chicken salad on french bread and their pasta salad is something I can eat by the buckets. If you want a great lunch I would highly suggest this place. The crew is just as good as the food!

At one time Chad's Deli was 5 stars. It was where locals were known by their first names by the staff. It remained 5 stars even after Chad's death. There were days that you would have call in for the Dinner Special at 11AM. That's how popular their specials were and the locals knew it. But that changed with, I guess, new owners in early 2020. First to change was the wait staff and a few cooks. Then the menu changed drastically. Then the Pandemic hit and they changed their hours. Closed at 6PM, no way to grab a take out with those hours. Went by yesterday, 4/22/21, to make a to go order. A large group was ordering and was being told, "We don't have that, or that or that." The gentleman just said, "Okay, we'll just take the burgers and pizza then." I ordered and all 3 items were not available. There are a lot of good places to eat in the Keys. Robbies, OverEasy and Chad's are not on that list.
It was fast and affordable. But was definitely mediocre. If you like Sabarro airport pizza, this is for you! However, it is a locally owned place so I don't have any major regrets ordering here over dominos for equally mediocre pizza.

If you are riding down to the keys and need to stop for lunch or dinner, hit this place up. Great sandwiches and pizza(try the calzone?). I got an Italian sandwich that was the size of my face, and it was so delicious. Also, it was most likely the most cost-effective lunch we paid for while in the keys. Great value! Oh, and the gentlemen behind the counter was awesome and friendly.

We had dinner at Chad’s tonight... absolutely amazing... from the greeting as we walked on, to the recommendations on what to order, to the amazing food that was delivered to ourTable!! We had the French dip, chicken fettuccine Alfredo and a calzone. We will either be stopping in or ordering take out again before the week is over! Thank you !!

We ate at Chad’s last night and I went again for breakfast this morning. The pizza is SO good. The crust and the sauce tasted homemade and so fresh. The biscuits and gravy was perfect this morning. I highly, highly recommend eating here. The staff was so friendly and the restaurant was spotless!! I will definitely go back!

We only stopped here for a snack. We got a large white macadamia nut cookie. There cookies are big enough to share with the whole family and decently priced. If you like crunchy cookies these are great for you!
