Sunrise Cuban is a must-stop if you’re in Tavernier! The picadillo and arroz con pollo were absolutely delicious — full of flavor and perfectly cooked. It’s a casual, no-frills spot with authentic food that hits the spot. Friendly service and great portions, too. Don’t miss it if you’re craving real Cuban comfort food in the Keys!
We are staying at an Airbnb in Tavernier and this was the perfect place for dinner takeout. We ordered a ropa vieja combo meal, a half chicken combo meal and a Cuban sandwich. All portions were very generous and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this place!
Absolutely amazing. Do not miss the chance to get the best Cuban food in the keys. Friendly and accommodating service. Amazing food. We always come here on a keys trip. I see some comments about a microwaved sandwich. I want to be really clear about what I saw. The food is fresh. The Cuban bread is authentic. I did see a microwaved sandwich in use but it was used at a low power to lightly warm the internal meats of the sandwich for a few seconds at a low wattage before the AMAZING...
