I have gotten take out a few times now and I have enjoyed it. Today I had chicken pita. I think the meat gets a little dry from waiting for customers, I have been the only one there each time I came. That said, when vegetables and sauce are added , plus the fresh bread, the sandwich is plenty moist and quite tasty. If more people eat here the meat won't dry out on the rotisserie! French fries are good too. Go get a sandwich or bowl now!

We were excited to try this place out for lunch. Although there was a big OPEN sign in the window, they were closed! Further research shows they are only open Th, FR, SA. WTH?!

I've been looking for an authentic Döner Kebab like I've eaten in Germany, and the best so far can be found at Baba's Kebab. I ate the Beef Döner Kebab "The German Way," as the proprietor called it. My Kebob was delicious and authentic to the street kebabs found in Germany.
Kebabs are meant to be nothing fancy but very tasty "street food." To me, the keys to a great Doner Kebab are the meat of choice being cooked on a vertically rotating spit and the authentic sauce. Baba's has both of those critical ingredients and many more (like pickled cabbage).
The seasoned pommes friets (fries) are fantastic also!
I recommend Baba's, and I'll be back!

I adjust my review - I did enjoy the food and it was fine to eat and it was fresh But I did feel it was Over priced and it is over shadowed to the level of what Is around them. Chef yousef & Syrian shwarma which are in the area in my opinion are a bit better. But to each their own.

It’s all fresh food, a true mom and pop shop. We had the Beef Doner, it comes with fries and a drink.

Parking: It’s in a smaller plaza but for lunch they had a lot of parking

Kid-friendliness: The owners are very friendly

Wheelchair accessibility: They have room to bring a wheelchair

Worst restaurant I been to in Tampa. Food is bad and the sandwich is 10 % meat with 90% greens. You don’t taste the meat. I asked for a sandwich and automatically I was sold a combo for almost 18 dollars. Took 1 bite and put the whole thing in the trash. I am amazed how they are in business. I don’t recommend this restaurant and I will pass my bad experience to all the people that I know. You don’t see bad reviews as much because they ask customers to take it down after refunding their purchase. That 4.5 star is no where near the real truth for this restaurant. Based on the reviews I tried it and I was so disappointed in their super bad sandwich.

This place is the most disgusting place I ever ate in my life. If I could give them a zero star, I would the food wasn’t even ready. Literally he took it off the grill raw. We tried tried it and I threw up all the food. It is disgusting waste of money waste of time and most of all you can have stomach problems from this place, I would not send my worst enemy to eat their food

I feel compelled to write this review because I am very disappointed. I recently returned from Europe, where I enjoyed fantastic doner kebab, and I was hoping to find the same quality here. While the staff member I encountered was very nice and pleasant, the food itself was quite disappointing. The bread was cold and not heated up, the taste was subpar, and the chicken was very dry and lacked seasoning. The vegetables were just okay, and the sauces were not good. If they aim to replicate European doner kebab
they need to significantly improve the quality of their food.

It tasted like my time in Germany. The service and food were fantastic. Most of the negative reviews are from people who don’t know what authentic German food is and compare it to the Middle Eastern food in the area. Also my Eastern European girlfriend loves the slaw that they put on the döner, she says its reminds her of home.
