most stars are for the service. i don't know how you can make ramen where none of the ingredients soak up flavor from the broth. it was like there was some kind of flavor blocker on there and everything came out of a can. kalamari came in strange rings. that ain't kalamari. would probably not trust raw seafood here. enjoyed the television collage, mostly because i had king of the hill and modern family and some weird police show. wife could see fox news and was angry. but the best part and possibly something that could give it a five stars was that light up ice bucket, baby. that thing was glowing and lighting up the room. wife wanted to shut it off, said it was too light and tried to block it was bottle, i said it will stay on the whole time. almost grounds for divorce, you never turn off an ice bucket. didn't like the guy next to me sucking his teeth every 30 seconds. should be grounds for dismissal from restaurant. more about the kalamari: weird rings and i ate them anyways and wife said don't eat those but i did. chili oil bad. broth okay. kalamari rings were rubbery, probably could have flung them across the room or wrapped a newspaper with one like an old newsie. i used to fold my papers back in the day, could probably use a ring though, could probably use that kalamari. one very enjoyable thing was andrewoid. he was very attentive and never broke smile. ever. even when he spoke to you. he will make sure to check your spice level and make sure it is adequate. he makes sure you like the food. he will get you everything. wet wipes, water, anything, beer, light up buckets. i would have asked for another light up bucket but wife would not like that. cool decor, nice umbrellas. felt like i was in blade runner and so did andrew! andrewoid gave us most authentic candy fresh from japan. very fine and important to heritage. wondering why i've had them at every asian restaurant ever. i think my dentists office gives them out. i'm pretty sure the guy at the table next to us was lying to andrew and he said it was great and he was going to force his roommate to come back there and he was going to like it. maybe he was scared so he was trying to be nice. probably not good for andrewoid long term. no flavor to anything. i left there and thought "maybe we should have gone to outback".

I loved everything about this place starting with the friendly staff. The hostess greeted us with a bright smile and Andrew seemed so excited to work there and to make recommendations. He may be the best server on the planet. Then there was the food. Lots to choose from, delicious, and interesting. I loved the fried oysters most of all but also enjoyed a Ramen dish.

Found this place while looking for vegan Ramen options not knowing anything about it. The customer service is superb! Very friendly and greeted with a smile. I haven't even tried fhe food yet but in a world of bitter people great customer service is greatly appreciated
