Amazing food by amazing people. If you are looking for quality, fresh, and comfort then this is the place. The mocktails are also incredible with so many health forward options. Never expected to find such a gem on this street but was lucky walking past one night. I would trust this spot for any crowd.

The ceviche was outstanding, and the lucuma ice cream dessert was a vibrant explosion of flavors, complemented by an excellent cappuccino.

If I could give a 10 star I would because I've never been treated like a VIP royal before. The owner and his wife looked after me. I chose the ribeye, arepas and tostones. I had coconut flan for dessert. Wonderful experience.

I strongly recommend this restaurant without any reservations. Everyone here is wonderful, but I especially recommend asking for Leo and Daynelis. The owner, Carlos, is constantly greeting patrons and very gently and politely checking to see if anything is needed, which truly makes you feel welcome. Everyone is fully bilingual.
When I arrived, I was experiencing some stomach discomfort and asked for a soup. After I explained how I was feeling, Leo very kindly recommended a house-made tea with ginger and mint. Honestly, it helped me so much—I was really impressed by the care and attention. The food is excellent; everything we tried was great. This place stands out not only for its delicious food, but for the genuine hospitality and kindness of the staff. A truly outstanding dining experience. Highly recommended!

I have been to many restaurants in Tampa’s diverse food scene and of the many great restaurants I’ve been to, Vica Latin Signature might be the best.

I’ve been to Vica four times at this point and the immediate thing that stands out is the excellent service. Leo has been my server the past two times I’ve gone, and the service experience is unlike no other. In addition to being incredibly welcoming, Leo took the time to explain the intricacies of most of the menu items. Not only do you get attentive and personable service but you also get a rich education on the traditional dishes of Peru, Colombia, and Venezuela with further insight on Vica’s unique blend of the three cuisines.

But the service is only one aspect, the most important part is the food and Vica passes that test with flying colors. The appetizers are all fantastic. The portions are of immense size and the flavors are unmatched. A personal favorite of mine is the yuca huancaina, which is fried Yuca cooked in a delicious Peruvian pepper sauce. Speaking of sauces, Vica offers a selection of traditional Peruvian sauces to go along with your meal. I was preferential to the rocotto pepper sauce which was deeply flavorful with only a mild spice. If you’re a spice fan, they offer a spicy pepper sauce that is both flavorful and also very hot.

In terms of the entrees, I usually go with their grill options. I had a ribeye this time and it was an expertly cooked medium rare. It cannot be understated how generous the portions are, with the steak being huge and also the two sides that come with the meal. I chose sweet plantains and white rice this time to go along with the ribeye. Every time I’ve gone, each of the grill options have been immensely flavorful and well worth the price.

The drinks are also incredible. They offer a variety of different fruit smoothies, which are fantastic. They also have an assortment of mocktails with the maracuya mojito being a recent favorite of mine.

Lastly, they offer some powerhouse desert options. The maracuya cheesecake is excellent. The sweet and sour maracuya gel really adds depth to the richness of the cheesecake. With the exception of the cheesecake, all the dessert options are made with dulce de leche, which I quite enjoy.

The most unique dessert(and also the best in my opinion) is a Lucuma sort of ice cream. Lucuma is a Peruvian fruit that is known as the gold of the Incas, and it’s easy to see why. With no exaggeration, it tastes like a mix of coffee and caramel and it’s made richer by the dulce de leche that surrounds it. It’s a novel dessert and one of the better ones I’ve ever had. They also serve complimentary Cuban or Colombian coffee to go along with your dessert option. I got the Colombian coffee, black with one sugar, and it was a perfect cup.

My only regret is that I’m writing this review after the meal so I can’t take photos of the lovely food. The next time I come back, I’ll be sure to take photos so I can attach them to this review. When I went there this evening my friend and I were the only customers in the restaurant and that was deeply disappointing to me. A restaurant with incomparable food and service like Vica should be filled at all hours of the day. I’d put this restaurant up against any restaurant in the Tampa Bay Area and be confident that they could compete flavor wise and service wise. It’s an amazing restaurant and I’ll definitely be back soon.

Absolutely spectacular what else can I say. Me and My dad after a long day found this place after looking for a Colombian or Peruvian place and then it showed up as a mix of both. Every single plate was spectacular we ended up eating an appetizer, 2 entres, and dessert. Everything was amazing and fresh. The service was absolutely phenomenal we were greeted and taken care of personally and the menu was super easy to navigate as they had a picture menu from an iPad. Absolutely recommend, I never write reviews but I had to for this place, if I could give 6 stars I 100% would.

I ordered empanadas and they were crispy and delicious. I also had the “pescado a lo macho,” and the portion was generous — the mix of flavors was truly tasty! The passion fruit cheesecake… wow, I absolutely loved it! I had never tried it before, and it was outrageously good. To finish, my cappuccino with heavy cream and cinnamon was the perfect ending.

I can’t believe I had never noticed this place before — I think the sign could use a bit more lighting, but the food is amazing, made with fresh ingredients and prepared to order. There’s great variety, and the service was more than good — excellent!

If you’re a demanding customer, you’re going to enjoy it just as much as I did. Highly recommend! 🌟 :) Thanks!
