The customer service here by the woman who takes orders is very rude. She ask you to hurry up with your order then when you ask for a moment. She hangs up the phone on you. When you ask for a manager. She hangs up on you. I refuse to spend my hard working money with people who are so rude! They will never get my money again! Restaurants like there's, are on every corner. I don't have to go to that one!

We have tried several Chinese places in the Temple Terrace area, but China Star has surpassed them all. They are price competitive, the store is clean and their soups are the best around. We haven't tried everything on the menu yet, but their quality and consistency over the last 9 orders we have placed are spot-on. Definitely a good choice in Temple Terrace.

horrible! i have been ordering from this place for years . The lady in the front was so rude. i called in my order she rushed through the order i got there and the order was not right and she missed a whole meal. instead of fixing it she said ill give your money back. my response was " i been order from you for years the same thing and your not going to take my order?" She replied no im going to give you yoir money back. she is very rude and prejudice stay clear

First time here. Wasn't busy got the standard General Tsos Chicken. Rice taste like peanut oil and has nothing besides rice and a tad bit of egg. I literally got one piece of broccoli.

Kid and I have been visiting this place routinely since he started at USF 3 years ago and I'm finally getting around to writing a review (for reference of how much we've tried it). He gets the same thing every time, basic lo mein, but I've sampled beef, chicken, and shrimp, and all dishes are delicious, adequate portions, and most importantly, consistent quality. Can't count the number of times we've been here and never a miss- very hard to find restaurants that can do that. Wish I had pics but it's always more critical to devour the food than photograph it!

Edit: was originally 3 stars, they charged me EVEN MORE this time after i specifically stated i didnt get enough chicken the last time despite paying for EXTRA CHICKEN, look at the picture. What a joke. Paid even more for extra chicken this time and its non existent. Egg roll, old as hell AGAIN! not coming back. tired of these chinese restaurants just overcharging me for nothing
