Stopped in at 4:00 today (Friday). Facebook, Google, all sources sa they close at 7PM. A lady was behind the counter and was surprised we came in. She asked, somewhat rudely, “was the open light on? It should be off. We close at 4:00. I just handle the cleaning.”
We had no way of knowing that. There were no signs, social media wasn’t updated, Google was wrong, and the door was unlocked with the lights on.

Six month ago I met Aaron, the owner of Essence. I was twenty pounds underweight struggling with gaining. Aaron has been so helpful, kind and knowledgeable during my journey. I couldn't have asked for a better person to help me feel as healthy as I do today. Every day I feel welcomed and cared for. Aaron is professional and I never wait long for my order even when he is busy.
I couldn't imagine where I'd be today if I hadn't walked through those doors six months ago. Thank you Aaron and Wssenxd nutrition for being such a pivotal role in my life and that of the community.

I have been coming here for a few months now. I LOVE this place! Always clean, Aaron is beyond kind and generous and even funny! I always feel like a priority when I walk in. The teas and shakes are some of the best I have ever had, I highly recommend the chocolate chip cookie dough one. The waffles are light, fluffy and the fresh fruit make them taste even better! I would recommend this cafe to anyone in the area!!

I really wish I did not have to leave a negative review, but I firmly believe in letting the people know so they can make informed decisions. I really *wanted* to like this place since it is in a convenient location; however, I went once and I will never go back. The day that I went, they were having some sort of meetup there for all the other people that sell the MLM products that are used for this business’ menu items (Herbalife, look it up) and people from this MLM pyramid were coming in *after* me and getting served ahead of me. I was there for an hour just to get a smoothie and a waffle — both of which turned out to have little to no flavor and didn’t make me or my husband feel good after eating it. It’s one thing to have a long wait — it’s another thing for the owner to have been rude to me (and other people I know who have been to this place) and dismissive when I asked him how much longer it was going to take (I was late for my baby’s nursing schedule due to waiting AN HOUR for two fairly simple menu items). Sorry, I would not recommend this place!

The first time I was here I couldn’t decide what I wanted, with so many delicious flavor options it’s hard to choose! 🥲
He asked what I was thinking & what kind of flavors I liked, I told him I liked cherry & lemon/lime, so he made me a cherry limeade instead of having to decide on something on the menu. It was delicious, but his service was my first sign that I would be back!
as I’ve come back I notice that he always greets people with a smile, and has a great attitude & authentic personality.
