Gave this place a shot, never again.

First red flag is the sign that says they aren’t responsible for missing items for orders.

Had a $105 order of tacos and sides.

Asked for hot sauce after and they charged me another $1.06 for a small side of sauce. Upon checking our order the 3.99 side of beans came in a tiny cup as the sauce and were not refried. Asked to for an explanation and they just pretend to not understand the problem and then they tried to charge us for more. Manager just sat in the back and pulled out a bigger cup saying they are normally split with rice and beans yet the sign clearly says beans. Did nothing to help or make it right. Just wanted to charge us more.

In the end, food was mediocre anyways. Avoid…

Awful service: You just don't keep addressing the UberEats/DoorDash pickups drivers, instead of the paying customers that are waiting in front of you. Although, I do have to say the two ladies cooking in the back are working extremely hard.

Atmosphere: 12:45-1pm visit on a weekday - No one in the store welcomes you in, actually you are practically ignored. ALL tables were uncleaned and the floors were NOT swept or cleaned after food items were dropped on the floor (apparently from several children).

Food: The elote (street corn) was so over soaked in water that as soon as I picked it up, it broke in half. When you bit into it, all of the water that was drenched into the cob comes gushing out. The tacos were OK, not something that you would remember or think "I need to come get these again".

Nice find for my group of ten in the area on business. A week after Helene we were hard pressed to find something open or a full menu available or accepting credit cards...etc. Lolis isn't the most aesthetically pleasing venue, because it's a counter where you place orders and a very modest dining room where the food is brought to you when ready. On the front counter is a plastic utensil dispenser next to one delivering a napkin per pull.

If you don't care about any of that but love authentic Mexican food, then you're in luck! As I wrote, we had a large group and most ordered different items. All of us agreed the offerings were made from fresh, high quality ingredients. Even something as simple as queso and chips was great with corn, onion, a few other vegetables mixed in the cheese. It's a bit pricey for an establishment with its "look" however you'll get premium taste for that $12-$20 per person!

Parking: Parking lot is somewhat small because the property is a strip mall and there are other businesses; however some of the post-Milton damage may have obscured some spots.

The homemade churros were ok. They served it with ice cream that had obviously melted and they tried to re-freeze. The chocolate was trash.
The lemonade was amazing. My son and I were just trying out new places. Probably won’t return.

Lolis has amazing tacos. Their pastor is from the trompo so it is authentic. Their lengua is one of the best that you’ll find in tampa bay. Carnitas are good too. Tamales are delicious. Their poblano queso is real queso not powder. Aguas frescas are also delicious. I am Mexican so I am very picky about my Mexican food .

The food was "good." What bathers me is the price, I ordered 3 tacos, a cane asada plate, and 2 sodas. My bill was $45. Extremely expensive. I will never go back. There are better places for that much money.
