I tagged this with as many as I could because every part of this restaurant is awful. My experience was terrible. The owner is aggressive and rude. They tried to force me to pay for gross food I didn’t touch and upcharged me for “free” items when I refused. what’s worse is they’ve been removing my reviews and posting fake reviews since yesterday. This restaurant is shady.

Great family business. The sushi tasted fresh and the fried cheesecake was amazing.

I love this little place. I've been here a few times with my husband and their sushi is always delicious and service is always pleasant. I came in today for lunch and ordered their lunch special - 2 rolls for 9.95 and this included salad and miso soup. You can also do 3 rolls for 12.95. I ordered the spicy tuna and angel roll. The angel roll has cooked tuna and the roll is fried. I actually thought it would be raw tuna and outside fried. I'm not a fan of cooked tuna but this one was not bad if you prefer cooked sushi rolls! Their crab Rangoon roll is the best! I honestly forgot about it during my visit today and was sad I didn't order it! Next time! COVID: The employees all wear masks and they kept all guests with one table between everyone.

One of the worse places I’ve ever eaten in. The place is dirty and filthy. Service is horrendous and slow. Stay away if you are looking for a decent dining experience.

I went during lunch hours, and mind you I've eaten bento boxes from other sushi bars, and this one was ultimately the most miserable one. They literally gave me a baby scoop of plain white rice four tiny pieces of fish and just two slices of a California roll. I couldn't believe my eyes. I felt so disrespected. It looked like a lunch for a child. On top of that the menu said sashimi lunch special $12.95, and without my changing a single thing I was charged $13.95 for no apparent reason. Still hungry, so I picked up some pollo tropical on the way home. I left $4 tip only out of pity that that's even considered a sushi bar.

This is the best sushi I’ve ever had! It is my husband’s favorite place to go for lunch and now I order it for dinner and pick it up! It is always fresh, delicious and I’m not sure what they do to their Miso Soup - but it is far superior to any I’ve had. I can’t say enough great things about this spot! Inside is always clean, friendly, relaxing and family oriented. BEST!

Best sushi in town. Excellent food and service. It's a family restaurant, so they are kid friendly and keep the place very clean. They have a lot of menu options, including an extensive roll selection. I have yet to try one that I didn't like! I can't recommend this place enough.

Food and service were both excellent. Enjoyed this restaurant very much. Wish I could remember our server name but she was amazing.

This was such a nice surprise and hit the spot. Loved the dancing crab and sweet potato roll, but had to add avocado to the latter because it was plain sweet potato. Their seaweed salad was a good portion, good for two people. Only drawback was that they charged for sauces like yum yum and spicy mayo (which both tasted like spicy mayo). Otherwise, super delicious food!!

Great Place The food was fantastic and the people were really nice it's family owned and the place really has that feel. Their kids work there too and are super friendly and helpful. I've never had a bad experience here.Highly recommend it

I have dined in here for many special occasions over the past four years. The sashimi is beautifully prepared. The staff are also delightful - I remember visiting the restaurant after six months of having not eaten there, and our server immediately recognized us. I recommend Sushi for Two for a good selection of sushi and two chef's special rolls of your choice.

Delicious! This is my husband's favorite sushi place. We drive from Land O Lakes to get it and pass at least a half of dozen other sushi places to go there.

I'm not sure the last (low rating) was actually thinking of the right place. We go to Tokyo Sushi at least once a week because the food is Sooo amazing. It's fresh, made well and everything we've ever eaten is great. We have a few favorites, like the Ire rolls and Tuna Tataki, but we try different things every time we order. And seriously, our take-our order has never taken more than 20 minutes, Max. So this is what makes me think that the person writing the last review- stating she waited over an hour, must have added her comment to the wrong site. If so, I hope they'll give this location a try.

Not sure if eating inside the place is better but I ordered delivery and the sushi was so bad I had to leave a review. I ordered spicy tuna and it was the opposite of spicy... bland, flavorless and disappointing. And I love sushi... Again this is a review for delivery, I would imagine it may be better inside, but if you're thinking about delivery DONT

I normally don't like giving sushi places low ratings. But being an avid sushi connoisseur, and seeing the great ratings for this place (plus the convenience of it being so close to home), I had to give this place a try. And...I was incredibly disappointed. The wait alone was over an hour. Granted they were busy, which is normally a good sign. I ordered online, and after the order I chose the text option so they text you when the order is ready. Cool! Well...after 45 min I decided to call to check in. The phone line was busy, so after 55 min wait mark, I got through. I was told 20 more min because the mussels take 20 min to bake. Wow... After 25 min I had to call again because nobody texted or called to tell me my food was ready. My bf and I head back home super hungry and excited to try. We got 4 rolls, mussels, avocado boat and takoyaki. Here's where the fun begins: Extra charge for the sauces. Thats fine, but we had no napkins, and there was no Wasabi or ginger with our meal. Worst takoyaki I've ever had. Undercooked, super mushy and soggy. Only 3 balls in an order of $4.95 Avocado boat was also sad...very mushy. Tasteless. The mussels were done well. I give those a plus! The 4 sushi rolls....terrible. We REALLY tried to love them. But there was one common theme involving all the food besides being mushy. Everything was BLAND. So bland! The rice isn't seasoned AT ALL. All the rolls tasted the same, no flavor. No kick. Nothing stood out. We got 2 rolls that looked exactly the same minus one or 2 ingredients. They both tasted plain. I spent $80 that night on food that had absolutely no taste and was soggy. Hard pass on this place, sorry. ‍
